  1. Bolton signed 2 players today, albeit one for free but the other was for a fee, no idea how much. Things can’t be that bad there otherwise these players wouldn’t be joining. Noticed The Brummies are under an embargo again (still?)
  2. Sounds like a great signing. Versatile too which should be a great option for us over the course of the season
  3. Great to see a season long loan, wasn't too happy with it supposedly being only till Xmas
  4. Well the Rovers twitter team certainly know how to whip this board up into a frenzy! I reckon Palmer and a total randomer who hasn't been linked to us at all.
  5. But it’s got a different text font from last time!!
  6. Bloody BRFCS.com going down, making me talk to my wife and kids and stuff.
  7. How far does this stuff go? Probably not very but now the fine has been imposed it means QPR unlawfully got promoted into the premier league, whilst Derby County, whom QPR beat 1-0 in the playoff final, operated within the laws of the game and have basically been cheated out of a huge potential payday. So basically, break the rules, get a huge payday for as many seasons as you can manage and get a slap on the wrist later or stay within the rules and get jack sh*t? Needs scrapping and starting again entirely.
  8. What does the Capitalise of £21.965m outstanding loans mean? Just paying it?
  9. He a winger? A loan till Xmas, hopefully with an option to extend?
  10. He contributed, the goals and assists show that but he wasn’t a particularly good player and playing at a higher level this season he would have struggled.
  11. The message board meltdown would be on a biblical scale.
  12. If he's managed to put together a reasonable argument for that, then its almost commendable.
  13. I can't see it taking too much to push us over the edge with regards to FFP. Perhaps the amount the owners were willing to back him with would breach FFP rules, so Mowbray would be putting himself in a win or bust situation. Probably enough to break the rules but not enough to assemble a squad that could realistically get near promotion. I don't really know, just speculating but i'm not sure why he would turn money down and put pressure on himself by having a weaker squad that fights relegation. If true, he's probably looking at some middle ground, enough to buy young players, who can develop at the club (Davenport, Rothwell) and keep us in the league (without a relegation battle) but not enough where it's win or bust and loading the club with high earners.
  14. Where has this come from? As in, signing a player today.
  15. More like No idea, No idea, No idea, No idea, No idea
  16. Leave it, I’ve started reading your posts in funny accents.
  17. Just like "The Scottish Wayne Rooney" "The next Batistuta" "A Young Steve Gerrard" Etc.
