  1. Can we not watch this on tv? Only via the skysports app via an iPad?
  2. Sheff Utds team was always going to be strong, regardless of the players they've rested. COYB 🔵⚪️ Massive game, we've just gotta do our bit and see where we end up!
  3. It's incredible work that you've got a direct line to owners in the first place 👏 Absolutely vital that the people at Ewood can be bypassed, otherwise they're just there to save their own skin.
  4. I don't know if it's been mentioned on here by anyone yet but I saw you tweeted that you had been in direct contact with Bala Rao. How has that dialogue gone? Positively, hopefully. (More from his side than yours really, as I know you'll have approached it respectfully & honestly)
  5. It's not even a gamble to a club like Utd, City Arsenal, Spurs etc. Pay £1m, which is literally nothing to those clubs, stick him on a 5 year contract, loan him out for 2 seasons (recouping the £1m in loan fees in the process), if it works out great, if not, just flog him. The whole system is bullshit, totally broken and just geared up for the big clubs.
  6. I did indeed. I think it would be better to target a younger centre back who can come in and develop over the season. Danny Batth would unlikely be given another contract after next season, so the new CB can then move up the pecking order the following season. We wouldn't be able to keep Carter, Hyam, Wharton, Batth and another CB all happy, if they were all fit to play
  7. Do we need a CB with Hyam, Batth, Carter and Wharton all back for next season? Not sure if there are any coming through the academy? I appreciate that Carter and Wharton are prone to a lengthy injury though.
  8. Definitely looks like one to avoid. Been on loan twice, got injured on his debut twice. 20 years old and has 3 first team appearances to his name, got injured in 2 of those apps.
  9. Yeah, i'm not having a go at you or anything, i know you're only passing on info/knowledge. Just trying to generally dampen expectations of the club being ambitious, before Nixon starts firing up his "Warchest" articles again.
  10. I love these Roving cam videos that the Rovers media guy does. The pitch side view of the goals is great.
  11. No, no, no ,no, no, no. Don't do it Adam! literally anywhere but there (or The Dingles, obvs) As much as it pains me to say it, their midfield 3 of Tonali, Bruno and Joelinton is pretty damned strong, he wouldn't be playing every week in that squad, although they are likely to have Champions league duties to contend with also. Just don't go there Adam, please, I beg 🙏
  12. We won't be paying anywhere near £5m for a player, the clowns in charge have already stated that we won't be. It's highly unlikely that we'll be paying £2m for a player either, £1.5m would be our ceiling I reckon.
  13. Really? Seems like a waste of wage budget to me. He's not been as bad as we expected him to be in fairness and I can only assume his only role would be coming on to see a game out. It's also the classic "pathway blocker" for Montgomery, who's main position is centre mid.
  14. What needs to happen to get us into the play offs and PNE relegated? Because that's the ideal scenario right now!
  15. A no brainer, from both sides really. Although happy to have him next season, we need to some positive news with regards to Tronstad, Travis, Brittain & Hyam really. I expect Batth, Hedges & Weimann will all be signed up before any of the above though.
  16. The line they keep spouting is "Parker only spent £18m" so i've assumed that players were brought in before he joined? I dunno. Even if it's a loan turned permanent, it still counts, there isn't any escaping that they spent circa £55m, which is a hell of a lot at this level.
  17. Dingles very much pushing the narrative that they only spent £18m, Transfermarket has them down as spending £55m. I must be missing something here?
  18. Dolan has (rightly) had his critics over the last few season, feels like we've put all the work in developing him as a player and now someone else is going to reap the benefits of all our work. Poor, from the club side that we haven't protected our investment. He'll assess his options as a minimum but on a free (even with a small fee to us) he'll have plenty of choice where to move and he'll get better wages at most other clubs.
  19. Agreed. There will be so much going on in this last round of championship fixtures. Just kick back, hope for a Rovers victory and watch the whole lot unfold.
  20. Spurs are absolutely wank 😂
  21. How are they doing this? Why do we just have accept that we can't compete or generate money in any way other than selling anything that's not nailed down? Birmingham might have a bigger fan base but not enough to get anywhere near the levels of clubs with parachute payments.
  22. I think we'll be looking to shift both out but that would depend on if the club actually get any contract offers on the table for Trav, Tronstad and Brittain. Buckley has had repeated chances and has failed to take them. I think JE saw that there is a player in there, and gave him the armband as a way of trying to push him to actually achieve his best, the making of him, if you like. I can only assume that Buckley has got issues with applying himself/knuckling down. JRC is a good player but has 2 big problems, he's constantly injured and he is painfully slow. Hit his stride under JDT but struggled again when JE was here. I'd say both of their time at the club is up but with these clowns in charge, they're probably looking at binning off the better players and keeping the cheaper ones. So who knows, really.
