  1. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, however if we have to downgrade on players of that quality, we'll be finishing next season rock bottom of the league.
  2. No, we don't have an U23's. 1st Team U21's U18's Ladies Team That's it (i think)
  3. 🤣 This made me laugh, way more than it should have done.
  4. Tbf, the players not getting paid would answer a lot of questions about the last 4 games!
  5. I have no reason to doubt your info, as I have 0 inside track but the club is in the black, the CEO got a cushty payrise and we've added 2 new staff to the scouting team. Can't see how we're not paying the players. Even at our lowest the players still got paid (to my knowledge) can't see it changing now. As soon as the players stop getting paid, that's when the authorities start looking (at last) and Venky's won't allow that.
  6. Look at Bournemouth, packed out stadium, great atmosphere, 1- 0 up against City (who've missed a pen), absolutely loving life. Can we ever have that again?
  7. Gotta pray to the footballing gods that we have a summer break clause in his contract.
  8. I'm more inclined to agree with you there (assuming you're talking about Mowbray), he certainly outstayed his welcome here and had some weird allergy to the playoff places but he certainly has his support amongst Rovers fans. Ah, my bad. You'd like to think he has at least 1 win in his locker between now and the end of the season but as always when you're on a horrific run of form, you just can't see where the next win comes from. Right now, I'd say we might scab a couple of draws and lose the rest.
  9. Remaining fixtures: Boro (H) Sheff Wed (H) Luton (A) Millwall (H) Sunderland (A) Watford (H) Sheff Utd (A) Can anyone see a win in there? Might get a lucky win against Sheff Wed or Milwall at home but it's highly unlikely. Did we not go down on 53 points last time? Maybe we're not out of the woods just yet 😬
  10. Mowbray had his faults, no doubts there. JDT could have been the one had he been backed and Eustace was an appointment that just suited the squad down to the ground. They were always due a total duffer again sooner rather than later after 3 good (or good enough at least) appointments.
  11. I don't think this really panned out today though, did it? Final possession stats were 47% vs 53%, and Pompey were full value for their 1-0 lead at half time. Not sure we created that much either, only 3 shots on target and I assume 1 of those was Woodrows long range effort?
  12. Not sure you'd get away with broadcasting the game on a big screen in a public place, but I dunno the rules specifically.
  13. Agreed, I just want rid of them. 15 years of this shit, it's someone else's turn to suffer. We've paid our dues.
  14. At least we managed to score a goal against them for a change.
  15. Woodrow won't be here next season (or at least, I fucking hope he won't be), no point in continuing to play him (he's shite anyway). Get 2/3 of the academy prospects on the bench and get them onto the field over the remaining games.
  16. Through that pathetic statement, dreadful managerial appointment and another total no show today, the club have literally just reloaded the gun for the fans. Literally handing it to Glen and Co. on a plate.
  17. Agreed. Season is done now, much rather get some minutes into Tyjon, Dunn etc. As opposed to subbing on dross like Forshaw or Woodrow.
  18. The club couldn't have ballsed this up and worse if they tried. Hilarious really.
  19. We all knew we were losing this. Absolutely fucking horrific appointment. Down next season with this clown in charge, 12 players leaving and no money spent.
  20. Strange lineup. Not seen anything from Woodrow to warrant a start and not seen any reason that Gueye should be dropped.
  21. If i was going to bet on anything today, it would be Pompey scoring within the first 7mins of the game.
