  1. Yup we were there. Our 100 per cent record still intact
  2. Poor. Excellent Pears save and a couple of last ditch tackles. Could easily be 2-0 Rovers are not a top 6 team

  4. Of course he is! I bet he can’t believe his luck. My answer to him would be, stick the ball in the net mate and we’ll think about it
  5. These are questions that the management need to answer (not that they'd give an honest reply) Assuming the club has done forward planning (ha!) and these players were identified as targets before the window opened, because they were cheap and surplus to requirements at their clubs, why weren't they signed at the start of the window? Or were they in fact desperation signings as the club fished around for any player at the bottom of the barrel who was still available and not wanted by anyone else on the very last day?
  6. Some folk are easily pleased ☝️
  7. You know there's bound to be a problem..... none of Rovers' own making of course
  8. And therein lies the problem...... Apart from the one player with a bit of pedigree, Dennis (who is unlikely to be match fit), they're all squad players, none that you could say is a guaranteed, automatic starter who is better than what we already have and will improve the team
  9. You're not the only one. I was looking forward to going to the Hawthorns......
  10. Dennis should strengthen the team but is he match fit? The lad from Luton will be a bench warmer - I can't see with his (lack of) pedigree and record how he'd be a first pick And they're loans, meaning we're likely have to start all over again in the summer All in all, that's a poor window (again). As little money spent as possible, and will we really be that much better? Meanwhile, Sheffield United have brought in Ben Brereton-Diaz, Hamza Choudhury, Tom Cannon and Rob Holding, That's what you do when you're in a position of strength And WBA filched Adam Armstrong from Soton. Did we know he was available, did we ask?
  11. Yup, I'll be there to watch him score too It's inevitable
  12. This last minute drama is ridiculous These signings should have been sealed early today Other clubs in desperate need of players like Rovers would have done them weeks ago
  13. You’ve said this before. Really don’t see it. He’s not tough enough for English football
  14. Both players being reported close to signing on the BBC now - a trusted source. Have to say Woodrow ‘s goalscoring record doesn’t inspire. What do they see in him except a cheap shirt filler? Desperation signing
  15. Dennis Nielsen? He would be lethal in our attack
  16. Traffic jam on the M1 standstill till midnight Could only happen to Rovers
  17. Confirmed that he was a very good player 5 years ago but is always injured now?
  18. Are we sure it's Emmanuel and not his brother Les?
  19. This is heading to be the worst of all windows under this regime - and that's saying something. I know this has been said many times but it just reiterates the point that for the 3rd year (or 4th?) in a row there is clearly no desire or ambition by the club management to make the top 6. I'm not sure whether anger or resignation are the right emotions. Either way, fans (and the town) do no deserve this
  20. Our group's losing streak has to end at some point and there's no better time than Tuesday as Rovers have a reasonably good record at Loftus Road. QPR 1 Rovers 2
  21. McEvoy is a good comparison. Both great players for Rovers
  22. Szmodics didn't look anything special in his first season with us, as many noted You of course spotted a 30-goal a season player from his arrival. Well done. All hail and praise.
  23. You have to wonder why Portsmouth and Plymouth reportedly want Leonard. He’s a League 2 player at best
  24. His official name is Guere (who?) - that well known typing error The lad has scored 3 goals in 27 games which is poor but his all round game is visibly improving - but then it needed to. He's aged 27, so he's hardly in the "promising" category. What we see now could be as good as he gets
  25. We keep going on the basis our luck has to change some time. Won’t it?
