  1. Why would anyone be "happy to be out of the cup" A ridiculous statement
  2. Routine for Wolves, at a canter. They didn't need to try very hard, and would have won by more except for poor finishing Rovers scored a decent early goal that should have stood but apart from that what did we offer? Very little. A few crosses that were easily dealt with, a couple of decent shots, but none that troubled the keeper. Where was the desire and pressure and momentum in the second half to try to get back into that game? A depressingly low (and depressed) home support made it all so predictable and familiar.
  3. You are aware that could be his last game with us?
  4. This is poor, no raising the pace or the pressure, no momentum, no sign of us wanting to save the game
  5. Dennis clearly not match fit but unlike Gueye looks a proper centre forward. Forest will be pleased when we hand him back a better player
  6. Bad decision for Hyam but that’s the way it goes. Wolves have hardly broken sweat yet 2-0 up.
  7. Routine for Wolves Pitiful attendance by our fans - sad to see
  8. Rubbish by Cantwell and Toth for the 1st
  9. It's football - players and managers, it's all one big merry go round and revolving doors If they're not happy and in demand they move.
  10. Is Waggott finally retiring this year (please)?? If so the next managerial appointment will be his final gift to the club That'll be Wayne Rooney then
  11. The Six Nations started last week - England lost
  12. Eustace's impending departure also sends a terrible message to the better Rovers players - why should they bother playing for a club that seemingly has no ambition and is so badly run the manger is happy to leave for a club in the relegation zone! As has been noted it must be unprecedented for a club in 6th to lose its manager to a club in the bottom 3. But maybe the rest of football probably sees it as a good move, as Derby are potentially a much bigger club with crowds twice the size of those at Ewood.
  13. I wonder what the Rovers players will be talking about instead of concentrating on the game
  14. He’ll be in charge today but likely gone before Wednesday’s WBA game
  15. Looks like my mole was correct (see title post). He’ll be in charge tomorrow but could have gone by the time of the West Brom game on Wednesday.
  16. Do you actually go to games? It must be bleedin’ obvious even in your one-eyed world that Rovers are not good enough to finish in the top 6. Nowhere near.
  17. Tony Mowbray didn’t take it seriously. The opposite in fact.
  18. Yes, we're going to WBA. Mind you, we went to Loftus Road thinking our losing run could not continue. Mowbray (and Armstrong?) and the immutable law of the ex - what could possibly go wrong?
  19. That's a very rosy view Another is that Preston battered us in the last 15 minutes and could and should have won. Why couldn't we do the same to QPR last night - we barely got in their half after they scored their second? Have we been playing well - really? I went to Oxford and we were dire apart from the last 5 minutes. Another game decided by slender margins and one mistake, which keep happening. The fitness issue affects all clubs This isn't perpetual half glass full stuff, just trying to be realistic. We've a very limited team that struggles - painfully - to score goals.
  20. Eight points from the last 33 is freefall. It's relegation form. Some folk on here think we'll pick up form from now on with fewer games and the new signings etc but standing watching at Loftus Road last night I don't see it.
  21. That was a hard watch at Loftus Road tonight. Time to admit what’s staring us in the face: Rovers are a poor side. The quality just isn’t there. This team hasn’t a hope in hell of making the top 6 and will probably finish somewhere in mid table, which would be a fair reflection of its abilities What’s the modern word for something that’s ordinary, or uninspiring: meh? Apart from one of two, that’s how I’d describe most of the Rovers players. They’re meh. Just a team of journeymen going through the motions Depressing
