His team won the game. That's all that counts
-
Twas written in the stars. Loads of optimism with all the new signings but Rovers revert to type and put the dampeners on
-
Loads of new players but will they make a difference with old Tony at the helm?? Very unlikely
-
And there it is....exactly as predicted
-
Tony couldn't believe the early goal fest and told them to start playing properly
-
Rovers look what they always have been under Mowbray - an average mid-table side.
-
You know your Rovers
-
Grabban is dangerous player. Wouldn’t be a surprise if he scored
-
Bitter experience has taught me high optimism levels usually end badly for Rovers. Forest to prick the bubble with a 2-1 win.
-
You should try the ICBINF - he changes tack every time Boris Johnson does a U-turn, ie at least twice a week.
-
And then you spoil it by saying that.
-
Yes, he had no excuses now.
-
The question is with so many players to choose from will Tony have an idea of his best XI? On his past form I don't see that as a good sign
-
Yes, he's no excuse now. There can't be many clubs in this division with a squad that size. The wage bill must be astronomical. It sounds as if Tony has been given every single player he wanted. Anything other than a top 6 place now would be a failure on his part
-
It is possible to have too many players - unless some of them are being lined up for the exit door quickly Mowbray can't possibly keep that many happy.
-
Check. Tony's Tombola is now defunct. Tony will need an algorithm to help him pick a starting XI from that lot.
-
If he were in that sort of bracket he wouldn't be on loan to us. There's going to be an awful lot of unhappy players in Mowbray's squad. As someone has pointed out, Mowbray can only pick 11. On the other hand, the bran tub of Tony's Tombola has just got even deeper. Stand by for more chopping and changing and different tactics every week to try and keep the camp happy.
-
Just posing the question ....... is that allowed in a discussion forum?
-
Is a 17-year-old going to be picked over Holtby, Johnson, Rothwell, Travis (when fit), the Norwich lad, and all the other experienced midfield players on the books? I don't think so....unless Liverpool have a clause in the deal guaranteeing him game time.
-
How's Mowbray going to keep this lot happy and seriously, how much playing time is a 17-year-old going to get ?
-
My Norwich spies say he’s a very solid if ordinary midfield player. They liked him but not unduly bothered as he wasn’t a special player. Seems to me he’s a direct replacement for Travis. Looking forward to seeing Anna in our local Asda.
-
Norwich fans seem to think he's not as good as Elliott Bennett. Is his girlfriend joining the squad too?
-
My best England team would include Foden, Grealish and Barkley in midfield. Pope has to be given a run of games too. Pickford sooner or later will make a howler
-
Southgate doing a Mowbray here - over-thinking it and trying to be too clever. Football's quite simple - play your best players in the best positions

Luke Shaw , or is he injured? Amari'i Bell is available too
