Good try but still doesn't disguise the fact Southgate has picked 3 right backs. And there isn't a left footed player in the team

Football reflects society since the formation of the Premier League - the elite and richest have got more wealthy and more powerful while the rest scramble around for the crumbs under the table. For the EFL to vote in favour of even further inequality is like the Red Wall voting for their masters in the last election - it doesn't make any sense at all

Worst I remember was a Rovers fan climbing over the wall at the Blackburn End and attacking the QPR goalkeeper, Phil Parkes I think it was. Circa 1967. We had some real idiots supporters then. Another memory is standing on Blackburn station around the same time as a returning football special to Burnley was passing through. Their finest wer leaning out of the windows throwing missiles at anyone who happened to be standing on the platform, little old ladies and children alike. It was frightening and a miracle no one was hurt -

Yes, it was great back then. Late 1960s and early 1970s often used to make last minute decisions to go and watch First Division football at Burnley (supporting the opposition of course). Jump on the train or bus and back home in time for a pint. FA Cup final and England Wembley tickets were more freely available too. Like many fans, I miss those days when you could just turn up at the turnstyle, pay your money, stand behind the goal in a great atmosphere and enjoy football like it used to be .......including the smelly loos and bad food. -

7 points out of 12, not 9. Average -
Dobing left in 1961 just before I started to watch Rovers. Shame I never saw him live but remember watching him with George Eastham in probably the best team Stoke ever had. Should have played for England but England had so many brilliant players to choose from he never got a chance. Manchester City paid £37,000 to sign him from us ..... a huge fee at the time. He's still around, aged 81.

Barry Douglas is 31 and played in both the Wolves and Leeds promotion teams. Douglas name has a fine Rovers pedigree too
-
The Issa brothers are leveraged up to their eyeballs with their EG Group having more than £8bn debts - do we really want them as owners and are they Rovers fans anyway?
-
His injury record is poor but I'd take him on a pay as you play basis.. Huge asset when fit. Doubt if his agent would agree though
-
Wycombe and derby look relegation material to me. Great that we took them apart like you should against poor sides but we will continue to struggle against the better teams. We’ve only played one decent side and we lost, shipping 3 goals in the process
-
.....and we lost to the one decent side we've played.
-
3 games gone, 43 to go. Calm down
-
The last 2 games have been remarkable. If Rovers were a racehorse or an athlete they'd be tested for drugs.
-
Has Tony seen the league table - we're in nosebleed territory?
-
Steady on
-
Are you saying Johnson's salary is chicken feed?
-
Clean sheets to the wind. Everyone's expecting an easy win because they've lost 2 and we've just beaten a poor side. This is Rovers and we're here to help. Derby 2-1.
-
We’ve won one and lost one in high scoring games so logic says we will draw this. Derby 0 Rovers 0
-
Let in goals every game and try to out score the opposition
-
Convicts 73-5. Come on England, send them home miserable

Newcastle United away in the League Cup

Rovers 0. That's fixed it. -
Steve Bruce team talk: "We should get a hatful against their crap defence but watch out for their intensity"
-
Personally I'd rather we were rubbish and won.
-
Tony knows it but doesn't know how to fix it.
-
It's so easy to score against us....... individual and collective mistakes nearly every game
