  1. I don't hate TV being involved. I hate it being involved to such a great extent and to the total disregard of match going fans. Shouldnt be prioritising the bloody middle east before match going fans. But fine, have PL at half 12, Championship at half 5. I would love to see us play in Europe again in my lifetime, ask a West Ham fan what they think of it. Makes lifetime memories.
  2. You likely wont, he has extended leave.
  3. The Thursday night Europa League and Conference League participants obviously cant play on the Saturday so would make sense to have them as the Sunday games on those weeks or as much as possible. If say there are 3 Premier League games a weekend instead on TV. There is no need for a 1230 and 530 kick off AND a Championship game at half 12. Ditch the half 12 Prem game and have just one at half 5. That would be too convenient for fans though.
  4. Surely Farke or Corberan. The latter even has the nonsensical "knows the club" line.
  5. More than half moved away from the normal 3 o clock kick off. Wont somebody think of the fans.
  6. Exactly why I dont want a promoted side. Moving kick offs from day 1? No thanks.
  7. Definitely not Leeds or any of the relegated sides. Please no moving games for TV right from the start. Might struggle to make the Friday.
  8. Does he have you on ignore? Never seems to answer your questions no matter how reasonable. Sadly, I think the club has a similar attitude/disregard to improving the matchday experience.
  9. Yeah it was. If nothing else, it helps to alleviate the congregation of people. We dont know if we get a commission % on sales but either way, obviously I am suggesting moving away from Sodexo. Again, not all of the ideas are targeted at you. I dont eat at Ewood but I still would support any attempt to make the overall matchday experience better.
  10. Some people dont eat at games either, I never do. But still, would certainly be behind revamping things on that front. Food and drink are key areas of improving the matchday experience AND earning more money. The drink situation is shit. Limited choices, and queues that often make it impossible. Revamp the food menu, revamp the drink menu and totally revamp the process. Pre pouring drinks, bottle bars, maybe using outside space for extra bars/food kiosks. They also stopped allowing people to go out and smoke in the Blackburn end. Why, I do not know.
  11. Not everyone is interested in everything. But lots of people do like a beer and it is such an easy way (both in types of beer and also improving on the shit show of dispensing them) to both improve the experience of many and also make lots of money.
  12. Why is the Wigan example trotted out so frequently? Is a valid expectation merely not to have owners that dont pay the bills? Should we be grateful just for that and push everything else under the carpet? They still make mistakes now. They override offers on players to let players leave for free and continue not to make changes to a set up that is giving us embarassingly low attendances. So our income is stunted. Plus they allow the infrastructure (exempt of FFP) to just get worse. No new pitch still, the ground decaying etc.
  13. Why do people need to have excuses/be excused for not going?
  14. I bet Grealish, Stones, Walker and Foden are excited at cutting short their celebrations at likely the best achievement that they will ever see to play against Malta and North Macedonia next week.
  15. Awaits comments that the above proves how good Venkys are as owners...
  16. The Morsy one was a freak accident too. I think he got blamed much more than Raya because that weird League 1 rivalry still existed in some peoples eyes, whereas Raya was still liked. Hard to tell regarding Dack, he was excellent for a month or 2 prior to his hamstring injury and he did return pretty soon after. I just never felt that Tomasson fancied him for whatever reason. We will miss his experience as well as his quality and IMO he is worth a chance on for a Championship side.
  17. Even if we consider him above Wharton, Broughton mentioned bringing in an experienced CB.
  18. Arsenal have an inferior team and squad to City, indeed.
  19. I still dont get how Arsenal are considered to have bottled it yet Rovers havent bottled it in the last 2 seasons. Truth is probably somewhere in between, but as much as anything a case of a lack of quality in depth. City undoubtedly has a stranglehold on English football, similar numbers to United back in the 90s.
  20. But playing against kids is not challenging, there is nothing really riding on it and it is not preparing him physically for full games at senior level.
  21. But its not the same. He needs competitive football, he has had plenty of 90 minutes against kids and it hasnt prepared him for 90 minutes of senior football. I would ideally prefer League 1 but the balance is standard v likely minutes I guess. I think he could do well in League 1.
  22. It is important to find a suitable club, 100%, don't think they need to be local though.
  23. Absolutely, his physical struggles are likely down to his age. But surely him trying to play loads of minutes at League 1 is better than another season of very occasional appearances due to the injuries of others?
