  1. I just can’t believe we haven’t started the entire youth team in this game
  2. Oh yeah I've lost count of the Phil Foden's and Harry Kane's we've produced
  3. It's alright, Mick's got another 3 years before the 'journey' actually starts. I certainly feel privileged to only be 28 games into ours
  4. I think people are being overly harsh on Dack, he isn't at his best yet, but what is he supposed to do when the team is performing as it is. It's not like preinjury he dominated every single game, if he's played in his proper position he'll improve the team. As for carrying him against Preston, who on earth was doing that? The whole team was off it, not just Dack, none of them performed well enough to 'carry' him.
  5. I see the players are out in full force today giving it the ‘we’ll put it right on Wednesday’, ‘highs and lows of football’. Don’t understand how big a game this one was to the fans, instead it’s just on to the next game. Absolute apathy under this boring manager
  6. Undoubtedly. They'll start by saying how good and exciting we are going forward, despite the fact we create very, very little these days
  7. Of course he's undroppable, he's been our best player for a good couple of months now.
  8. I had an argument with that callum at the start of the season where he initially said anyone not buying a season ticket isn't a proper fan, then when prices were released he claimed they were too expensive and thus wasn't going to buy one. Absolute muppet
  9. Think people need to calm down about Dack, what is he supposed to show in these cameo's that proves he is fully back to his best? Give the lad minutes and he'll come good. He didn't always completely dominate games even pre injury and this idea he signed a contract because he knows he's not gonna be good enough is bonkers
  10. There's been quite a lot made the past few days about younger supporters experience and how their only awareness of success has been the past few years. Whilst I'd somewhat agree with that, I wouldn't say it's the same for all younger fans. Being 22 my favourite memories were the Hughes years, particularly the FA Cup run till we lost at Old Trafford. Although obviously the main success I've witnessed in the league was the league 1 season, people around my age do still remember the better times and what Venky's have reduced us to. Having said that maybe I've only got that opinion because of who my dad is (ABBEY 🙄😂). The facebook groups on the other hand are absolutely nauseating. Whilst Venky's are backing the club at the minute is a good thing, it's their responsibility as owners, so I don't understand this need to constantly praise them for doing the bare minimum - paying their own bills.
  11. Personally don't see the harm in adding another centre back on loan. We've only got Darragh and Branthwaite as fit centre backs currently, and if this lad comes in and performs better than those 2 it can only be a good thing. Also it gives Ayala time to get somewhat fit (not holding out much hope on that one). Don't think we should be loaning Pickering back either, if he's going to be our left back for the next few years why not give him the chance to displace Douglas? On Douglas, he's been brilliant the last few games but we've seen he can be abysmal and injury prone.
  12. Bloody hell if only Cedric Kipre read this board so he could base his career moves off what chaddy says. The bloke got offered more money, at a higher division and clearly thought he could perform there, why wouldn’t he make that move?
  13. This will be all well and good, until we go down that route, fail, and then it'll be on to copying another team's success. Round and round we go with no end in sight.
  14. It might suit Armstrong and Elliot, but hard to argue it suits the whole team when we're no better off than last season. Something's gotta change, and if gambling on getting Dack fit and back to his best helps the team then I'm not sure why you'd be against that. If the 4-3-3 had us high in the league then perhaps you'd have a point.
  15. Definitely appears that no effort was made to make the pitch playable, but to avoid making it any worse (if that's possible). Just shows the complete amateurish nature of the club from top to bottom, optimum owners my arse
  16. All's I can say is enjoy the easiest 3 points you're going to get all season. Fully expect you to turn us over without a whimper
  17. Just can’t see us winning this game, they’re gonna follow the exact same blue print that kept us out at their place. Wouldn’t have scored there if we were still playing now. Hoping to be proven wrong
  18. Aye Johnson was brilliant and stopping Powell in the air last time..
  19. People on here need to be careful what they wish for. Just ask Hull fans what happened to them when they sold their top scorers in January. Went from 8th, to finishing rock bottom. Wouldn't bet against that happening to us with our toothless defence
