Summing up that we have no leaders on our pitch…. Jake Garrett, a young academy lad, eager no doubt, but not someone I’d describe as creative, decides he’s going to take a free kick from 30 odd yards out and have a go at goal. How is this allowed. it’s such low percentage, poor decision making, no leaders or authority in our shirts

The frustrating thing is we need a complete overhaul on the park but Venkys won’t give us a pot to piss in, and when they throw us a fiver we have Broughton picking out a keeper with biscuit fingers, a crock of a striker who couldnt control a bag of cement and a German non-leaguer who looks lost. We’re only going in one direction, and it’s bleak. Venkys, Waggot, spineless players, -8 GD. There isn’t much to like at this club right now.

Never want to see Callum Brittain in our shirt again. Offers absolutely nothing and is weak as piss when it actually matters. Pathetic.

That is ridiculous. The level of premier league isn’t to palm two bog standard saves around the post rather than palming them inside back to our own 6 yard box danger area. A good championship keeper, we win 1-0. nothing to do with PL levels.

I’ve taken a few minutes to reflect…I’ve come to one conclusion and that is simply VENKYS OUT! Firstly I just want to say thank you to the community trust, a real pleasure to see a relatively filled Ewood, and lots of families and children. On to the match, what a depleted squad. I’m actually ashamed that our owners have us relying on such poor quality. Nobody on that bench, bar Hill is worthy of League 1, let alone the Championship. Our attacking option being Markanday is laughable, he is a Morecambe standard player. Shame on you Venkys and Broughton and co. (More the former than the latter). I’m yet to be sold on Sigurdsson, proper luxury player, offers very little. Centre Forward? Not seen one for years. Criminal that we still haven’t addressed this. Finally, the biggest point that I’ve stressed for multiple weeks….how are we still playing this clown in net? I know Mash Potato brains and Andy tell us he’s going to be the next coming of Gordon Banks from literally zero evidence, but how are our management group 1) scouting him and 2) starting him. He is costing us multiple points. I’ve been very anti-Pears but he’s Ederson in comparison. Venkys only gave Broughton a few pennies to piss up the wall in summer and he did exactly that. I honestly feel like giving up until those clowns are gone. The club is dying by a thousand cuts. Well done to the trust. Shame on you Venkys.

BBE lower and JW will end up all gone, plus half a riverside must have us surpassing 18k in the home end. I’d have loved 20k home fans but this is a superb effort still. Could be a 20k attendance with away fans and on the day walk ons.

First email in what feels like forever from Blackburn Rovers ahead of this game. Flying over tonight, should be a cracking day tomorrow. Not been in the Jack Walker for a while, anyone know if these bad boys are sold in there? As for Szmodics, beggers believe he wasn’t rested away at Southampton where he could have actually stayed at home in a no hoper for us.
