  1. If people were saying that it says more about them than anything else. Assume it was on the back of whatever Broughton said in that podcast. Most of us have said it’s our most needed area to improve for weeks (at least JDT noticed Travis isn’t up to it), although on the back of that 90 minutes a number 9 is perhaps even more crucial!
  2. It feels very “Cocu at Derby” Started well, a vision of ‘total football’ based on possession. That ended with a 10th place finish then bottom of the league a year later.
  3. Kaminski Brittain - Hyam - Ayala - ??? ??? - ??? Hedges - Dack - Brereton ??? Fill in the gaps is the absolute minimum we need, and they need to be starting players.
  4. We’ve lost 5 of the last 7 in the league, it’s more like “one win and it’s back to talk of us being good” from yourself and a select few others. He / They have taken us backwards, we rank in the bottom 5 clubs in every single plausible stat. We have a -4 GD vs +13 last year, we’ve lost 4-0, 4-1, 3-0, 3-0, 3-0 this season already. Only two teams have lost more than us. We are a worse team in every aspect since he turned up, we just lost 4-0 to Rotherham, IMO more embarrassing than 7-0 to Fulham and that’s saying something I’ll honestly be amazed if we finish in the top half this season.
  5. Dortmund will pay €20m for that apparently
  6. Says it all. Spineless, who in their right mind thinks tapping it about sideways when 2-0 or 3-0 down is the way to go
  7. -3 goal difference sat in 3rd tells us the real picture. Bottom half by Easter. We’ve gone so far backwards since last season.
  8. We have to start a match without him sometime soon surely. Slows everything down painfully. No wonder we rank so low in the league in chances created (shots, xG etc)
  9. Still no shot in this half, approaching 20 minutes.
  10. Reactive rather than proactive. Waiting until 2-0 to make the changes every man and his dog could see were needed
  11. Poor from Hyam again and then so so weak in midfield from Morton
  12. It would be hard for Morton to misplace a pass as it never go more than 5 yards.
  13. Agree with all of that and we will have chances to turn it around in this half too
  14. Do you honestly believe Gallagher offers physicality? (assuming you don’t mean Vale). He’s as soft as putty, can’t hold up play or control a ball. Offers absolute 0 physicality. At least Dolan will run his legs into the ground putting pressure on them.
  15. We had a decent 20 minute spell in there. Simply need to see anyone come out to replace Gallagher 2nd half.
  16. Big Sam 5 minutes to pull his socks up and stroll forward
  17. 😂 he wouldn’t have even got his head on it. Don’t think I’ve ever seen him win an attacking header
  18. Kaminski, Hyam (despite the error today), Ayala, Dack, Diaz are probably the only players who are promotion worthy. Every other position could do with an improvement if we have any chance. Hedges potentially and Brittain if we see him fit you could add for arguments sake. We have half of a promotion 11 with some good future youngsters in Garrett, Wharton, Phillips. Fix the gaps in January please
  19. So frustrating. What is JRC doing. Roll it to Hedges, really poor decision making. We could get them on a counter given the way they’re pressing. It’s a game for Dolan/Markanday and not Gallagher/Vale
  20. Not true, it was a stupid cross field pass but it’s given away on the half way line. Hyam deals with that 9 times out of 10 and rightly should, this time he didn’t and it was his fault
  21. How can two managers in a row look at that big soft lump and think “yeah…he could do a job out wide for us”
  22. 0 points from losing positions this year, ranked last in the whole league. Might as well turn it off now.
  23. I thought exactly the same, genuinely forgot who he was. It‘s horrible to say it as the relegation was a club low, but as the case with many clubs, the League 1 relegation almost helped us rejuvenate the club, along with the most important thing TM did for us, sign Dack for about half a million. Just actually had a look at transfers around that time and stumbled across Lowe going to Birmingham….he was only 25 when we he left! Felt like he was at the end of his career, he’s only 31 now at Salford
