Lucas Joao’s first start for a while after an injury. Always seems to look Prem quality against us. This is a game we should be dominating. Let’s get off to a good start and go in at half time in a comfortable position please! -

It’s a shame that Millwall won despite getting battered, but at least Coventry dropped points thanks to Nyambe! (its an OG from a deflected effort by the sounds of it) For Coventry and Watford to get to 72 points they would need to average 2 points a match over the last 9, so I think they’re both pretty much out of it, despite Watfords win tonight. Roll on tomorrow! -

Sad news for Buckley, missing out on some huge games at the end of the season. Time for Mr Wharton to kiss and make up with JDT (if rumours are true) -

This mid-week round is going to be a biggie in terms of the playoff push. The 9 teams placed 2nd to 10th are all priced between 8/11 and 29/20 - all favourites, but all quite closely matched None of us are playing each other (if we exclude Sunderland from the race) All given between a 41% and 58% chance of winning -
I looked last week when I wondered if we’d get the extra allocation and there was a lot of empties. Cup games at home often sell closer to the date so it will build up, but not sure they’ll fly off the shelf like against Spurs, especially at £25 to a team you’ve played twice already this season (and the last X years)

Watford and Norwich losing and Coventry drawing, all in easier matches than our own. We keep a little cushion but a win on Wednesday is essential! -

Rotating, lots of matches in a short space of time and Reading at home is one we should dominate the ball more (Sheffield United away more suited to Travis)….but obviously it’s “AXED!!!!” Edit: it’s also the most likely match we will win until the end of the season, so a good opportunity to see how JRC performs in the middle and also get Wharton some match fitness -

Kaminski Brittain Carter Hyam Pickering JRC Wharton Thomas Szmodics Dolan Brereton 3 points needed in this kind of home match EDIT: realised I put Kaminski in here - prob through default past few years but I would actually still start Pears. -

Forget about 2nd, the slimest of slim chances. Even if Sheff Utd feck it up, we have Boro, Luton, Norwich, Millwall all more likely to catch them. It’s about finding that way to 6th now. The only good thing about the Luton win today is it may make Sheffield United think twice about the FA Cup. -

If you feel that way inclined it’s about 33/1 for Watford, WBA, Coventry, Millwall and Boro to all win. About 3% chance of happening, showing lots of rivals will drop plenty of points, especially away from home. (Ignoring the fact Sheffield United play Luton) -

No but I saw 80 minutes of him stood around doing nothing. -

How can a keeper look nervous all night when he doesn’t touch the ball for 80 minutes? -

Only 1 defeat and averaging 2 points a game i.e. league winning form (92 points over a season). With 4 of the best 6 teams in the league still to play. -

The post quoted the midfield, only 2 of them in there and he’d probably do a better job on his own. -

That stoppage time just confirmed their shit for brains! Gallagher barging into the back of the player The throw in by the corner flag, crowd the box and long throw and you’ll get a chance with the ball dropping, but we throw it short and give them a goal kick Bad day all round, really disappointing but Reading at home is a must (and should)-win now. JRC has been brilliant recently, but he isn’t a right back (can’t defend). Buckley so so weak in the middle. Diaz and Brittain to come in mid-week and move JRC in to replace Buckley and Diaz down the middle instead of Gallagher. It’s a blip and maybe a reality check for some in the prediction thread who had us with 1 defeat until the end of season. Easier games to come and there’s a reason Stoke were 1/1 and we were 3/1.
