  1. Would have rather seen Dolan than Khadra
  2. JRC is a red card waiting to happen now he’s on a booking. Mowbray needs to hook him at HT really
  3. Fair play Sky slamming how ridiculous it is playing Gallagher on the wing. Everyone knows it but the man in charge
  4. 3 x CBs brilliant. Especially Wharton and special shout to Nyambe who has been solid defensively despite worries from some against Carroll. Poor from the rest of them after the 1st 10 minutes. Passing all over the show and crossing horrendous They are there for the taking too. Hopefully he doesn’t wait too long for Khadra and Dolan It’s the kind of game game where if Dack was playing he’d almost be in our own box trying to pick the ball up because nobody else can string a pass together.
  5. Swinging a big diagonal to JRC just isn’t going to work.
  6. West Brom are odds on for this, any away win in this league is massive, but this feels like a huge one to put a big gap between ourselves and a playoff rival. Hopefully we get back to sticking the ball in the net tonight, as 2 goals in the last 7 league games is nowhere near good enough I must have looked at a different forum/chat, as they were all pretty down beat and expecting nothing! (westbrom.com/forum)
  7. Dembele this, Dembele that…some people thought we were going to be lining up with Elliott and Solanke on Valentines day!! Bournemouth have gone shit or bust with a clown as manager. Failure to go up this year and they will be lower leagues for the next 20. Nothing club, massive losses, parachute payments.
  8. That’s why I said decent, almost brilliant. I.e brilliant with 10 minutes to go
  9. My concern is the fact that Boro, Forest, QPR, Sheff Utd are flying without even including West Brom with a new manager. We will finish above Huddersfield but could easily finish behind those 5 leaving us 8th. A decent day for us today though overall. Almost brilliant. Sheff Utd have only played 12 home games too, I think they comfortably take a playoff spot now.
  10. Just perfectly highlights why we won’t finish 2nd. January
  11. In fairness, that’s the first penalty we’ve conceded all season, whereas we’ve been given 4 ourselves.
  12. Sheffield United 8 points behind us with 3 games in hand. They’ve won 8 of their last 10. We’re going to struggle to hold the top 6 with themselves, Boro and Forest flying.
  13. 2 goals in 7 league games. Something has to give Tony
  14. So so so so stupid. What was he thinking. Rubbish
  15. Hahahah he’d rather put Hedges at RB than Nyambe. We’re 1 step away from Gallagher full back again. Mowbray is hurting us.
  16. And there goes any dreams of 2nd. All about clinging onto 6th place now.
  17. He is isn’t he. I think there 3rd in the league, and above us, in matches since he took over. They were in the relegation zone when he was appointed. 2 seasons at Swansea in the playoffs and he’ll be there again with Forest this year.
  18. In fairness we’re creating the chances (same against Swansea). Buckley sitter, Rothwell great chance, Khadra has opened it up and fallen over a few times too. My concern is our defence reverting to type. We could have conceded 3 or more in that half very easily.
  19. The defending is comical. How did we go on that unbeaten run. Someone summed it up earlier. We’re playing like everyone expected pre-season. It’s just deflating given we someone worked our way up to 2nd.
  20. He’s on loan from Villa I think
  21. Regardless of the goal. He looks like bambi on ice out there.
  22. Mowbray is an absolute mug for putting Zeefuik straight in for Nyambe.
  23. Criminal from Buckley. Hopefully that doesn’t come back to bite us (it probably will)
