  1. The whole thing is just an absolute mess. Whatever happened to accountability? Only Ballance has come out with any sort of apology, it really doesn’t paint Yorkshire CCC in a good light at all.
  2. Yep, don’t worry, this also affected me and my mate Biz last night too. I’ll be raising it at the next FF. Along with Mowbray not apologising for last night and also not applauding the fans at QPR. If there are any other items that you (or anyone else) want to be raised, send me a DM.
  3. I am absolutely loathe to make this comparison, but I’ve been thinking all day that surviving a 0-7 reverse at home is getting into Kean levels of being unsackable. If last night isn’t the tipping point, what the hell will it be?
  4. I’m just speechless still, to be honest. (And that’s unusual for me!) I may well change my mind, but last night is still raw and it still stings like a bitch tbh.
  5. Woken up still shell shocked after last night. Definitely don’t want to go on Saturday. Or probably ever again to be honest. The lack of apology from Mowbray is incredibly galling too.
  6. I’ve just walked out. A rarity for me, but fuck that shite.
  7. Hideous, tonight. Rothwell back to his worst, Johnson the same. No fight, no heart, no desire from any of the rest of them. TLDR- absolutely pathetic.
  8. Buzzing that I rushed after work, wolfed some tea down, got here with a minute to spare before kick off, just so I can leave my warm gaff and sit in the cold. Only to see our players fail to turn up. Lovely.
  9. It obviously was, but if the ref had done the job he was paid to do, it wouldn’t have come to that.
  10. Harrison Reed blatantly handballs it, not given, then Van Hecke gets sent off for a ludicrous foul. What the fuck is this shite?
  11. Top defending from the corner there. FFS, 0-2.
  12. All that came from Rothwell giving it away, then they have their first foray into our half, they score. Christ, worst possible start.
  13. Not really something that’s annoying, just something I would never do and I know you wouldn’t either tbh. Can’t remember the last time you called us ‘Blackburn’ and I see you at least once a month…,
  14. If we had a hall of fame for previews, this one would be right in there! Great effort!
  15. Thank Christ for that. We don’t half make it difficult for ourselves, do we?
  16. If Mowbray doesn’t know how much our players earn or plan to earn, he must be the only manager in football that applies to!
  17. Whilst it obviously could be the case that our owners have played a clever accounting trick, it would fly in the face of everything else they’ve done in the last 11 years. If they have done, then fair play, but, they haven’t exactly got the best track record, have they?
  18. Remember not to bait each other and respect others’ views please. If someone wants to boycott- that’s their right. If someone wants to continue to attend, that’s their right.
  19. Not really a good thing, is it? Did anyone ever suggest that? It was suggested that Venus might have been the driving force in the sale, as they did something similar at Coventry. I don’t recall there being any mention of ownership being transferred into the manager and assistant manager’s names.
  20. Commentators mentioning Ferguson losing 6-1 at home to City, which obviously wasn’t a good day, but Christ, the guy had twenty years’ credit in the bank where he won plenty.
  21. It’s only half time, but that is the kind of result that gets you fired. Scholes copped some flak for saying ‘if United play against Liverpool like they did against Atalanta, they’ll get battered’. He wasn’t wrong though, was he?
  22. Just watching the Chelsea and Norwich highlights and Norwich have been spectacularly bad. Whilst Chelsea obviously have much better players than Norwich, nothing is stopping them putting some challenges in. If you allow good players lots of time on the ball, it doesn’t tend to end well….
  23. It’s a bit tiresome reading posts saying it’s quiet on here after we win. Just as it’s tiresome to see the same people accused of going missing when we lose. It stands to reason that people would be more likely to complain about something bad, imagine it is a restaurant review. In general, people would be more likely to complain if something was poor, something being good would be expected. In terms of things being more negative on here, I’d say that it’s because, posters in general, have longer memories in terms of the owners and the less frequent flyers, just want to talk football. All of this is fine, but there just needs to be more tolerance of people’s views. Coming online and slagging lots of people off sporadically, simply isn’t helpful and only helps to sow the seeds of division. In short, be sound and just accept that everyone has a different view, however much you may disagree with it.
  24. Of course, we signed BBD and Gallagher on free transfers, didn’t we?
  25. Money, most likely.
