I absolutely agree that he’s a better player than Saka, but I think he needs to either get his act together, or be managed better at club level.

Maybe more than one bloke on the internet might be a start? If the entire away end had ratified that Brereton was in tears, because of abuse from the crowd, then it would be believable. But, it clearly wasn’t like that. Don’t you reckon that if it had happened like that, the LT and club would have mentioned it a fair bit?

I mean, so did I, but £7 Million quid for us is a lot, especially if someone isn’t going into the first team immediately and making a real difference.

I think we need to stop using the benefit of hindsight to beat people over the head with a point and stop using revisionism too. For a long time, Brereton was pretty awful for us. He showed some more promise last season, but nowhere near the levels he’s shown since he started playing for Chile. I never wrote him off, but I certainly had concerns that we’d smashed a lot of money on a player that wasn’t delivering at that time. Though obviously, I’m delighted he has, as it’s for the benefit of Blackburn Rovers FC and me of course, as a fan of said club.

For me, I’d want Foden in the middle of the park. He’s the best footballer we have as far as I’m concerned and he will only continue to get better with him being so young.

I’m out all day at a gig in Manchester, so I’ll miss this and the England game which is a shame! Can only see a Fury win like.

I agree that it’s linked and I wouldn’t expect you to agree with the reason for removal tbh. Fact is though, whenever things get political on here, as it’s so tribal at times, it takes things off topic to a massive degree and causes moderating headaches, so we just say ‘no politics’ to make it easier.

1- If you want to query removed posts, DM a mod, or ask the question in Ask Admin. 2- I actually agreed with the content of your posts, but if you want to talk about the Saudi regime, go bananas in ICBINF, just not the football forum.
