Playing Dack wide would be a terrible idea IMO. Square pegs in round holes is one of Mowbray’s biggest faults. Dack as no.10 or nowhere. You wouldn’t play Evans left wing, would you?

I’ve very little doubt that if we played the correct players in their correct positions, we’d be better off. Before anyone makes a straw man out of me, I trust Mowbray, but some of the decisions he makes are baffling at times. Why are we spending the most money in years on a striker, not playing him as one, even when we leave out our main striker? Strongest players in their strongest positions, please Tony! I’d also be tempted to give Raya a rest to get his surgery boxed off. I can’t help but think his injury and subsequent need to wear a mask is in the back of his mind during games...

The most disappointing thing for me is that the PNE fan posted that they were susceptible to high balls into the box, so why on earth did our manager not instruct the players pepper them with them??

I really don’t get the Palmer hate (not just from you Chaddy), he’s one of the only attacking players that can make something happen. He’s even scored some goals for us this season and his name isn’t Dack, Graham or Mulgrew!

He’s a hell of a lot of credit because of last season, but today was a very bad day all around. He very must ensure he gets it right on Wednesday, then on Saturday, against Wednesday....

Excellent post in the main, but what I would say in relation to ‘the BRFCS doom and gloom’. We just got slapped 4-1 by PNE, I’d be more surprised if people weren’t full of doom and gloom. I was really angry for about an hour after full time....

They’re playing to instruction, the manager’s instructions. If those are unfamiliar and we are two goals down in the first 10 minutes, that would suggest the manager is at fault.
