People rightly picking up on the quality of Evans' performances. I think he's been really good this season, picking up from where he left off last season. He can be a frustrating player at times, but when he plays like he does last night, he's a vital part of this team IMO.

To be fair, in the past, he's usually qualified this with 'From Rich Sharpe' or 'from Nicko'. But not on this occasion, which led me to query, did he mistakenly omit this?

You've posted the above like you know it's fact. Is that the case? Fair play if it is like, but it's the kind of post that will get people's backs up if you're as in the know as the rest of us (I.E not at all).

Maybe start slowly was the wrong phrase, but even so, we were 0-2 down at HT with a mountain to climb, which luckily we did.

He was fantastic tonight. Really enjoyed watching his performance. He was everywhere, strong running, good tackling, solid with his passing and can get forward and shoot. Excellent all around performance. Hopefully this is just the start. How we’ve missed midfielders like this in blue and white!

Rothwell was outstanding all match. Nyambe and Evans very good in second half. Bennett improved in second half. It really was a game of two halves and I’m so glad we didn’t lose tbh, but it doesn’t make it any less frustrating that we’ve gone in 2-0 down at half time and started a game so slowly AGAIN! We just need lots of bodies in and fast. Particularly if the injuries keep on piling up (especially at this early stage).

Of course I'm not censoring anything or dictating what words can be used. But it just seems a cheap shot to label people 'happy clappers' or 'negative' and a bit infantile tbh. I'm sure we're all better than that and we've got more to our vocabulary than using basic terms to shoot folk down that we don't agree with.

I suppose the point was more why bother labelling people negative at all, just keep scrolling instead? What does it matter if people think differently, really? Allied to the fact that posts labelling people negative/overly positive en masse, derails threads and takes things away from the matter at hand when it's not really necessary. Maybe they are just like that? In the grand scheme of things, does it really matter what someone on the internet thinks that you'll never meet?

I don't get the point of calling people negative who dare to ask questions about signings, just like happens at every other club. Just like fans who question decisions of the manager, just like at any other club. People will always disagree with each other and that's alright. As I said the other day, it's only common sense to ask questions about us equalling our record transfer fee on a player, I think it's fair to say none of us know much about. People often make stuff up about what others have said and what they perceive to score points and it's a bit daft, not to mention inaccurate in many cases. Everyone on here wants Rovers to have the strongest possible squad in order to compete as much as we can, to suggest otherwise is just a bit mischievous IMO. Anyhow, have we signed anyone yet?
