Whatever anyone thinks of him, he's living in my 'hood nowadays and I saw him walking his dog yesterday..... He's often in The Alma on a Saturday and I seem to be the only one that's still not had a photo op with him! (He was in the stocks at said pub for a fundraiser in July).

I think people are going a bit OTT about Dack's lifestyle. Let's assume he plasters it all over the internet when he's out, as many people do these days. I follow him on Instagram and when he first signed, he did seem to be out a lot, but then it was massively reined in until the end of the season (discounting the night out the team had post Charlton away). He might well be out more than I give him credit for, admittedly, but if he is, I'm not sure people would have any proof of this unless they see it with their own eyes.....

Fundamentally, I'd rather have Bell over Williams tbh. I always like pace from players in wide areas and Bell has that, whereas Williams obviously doesn't..... Williams puts more of a shift in, but I think Bell is better going forward and needs to keep up this current run of games in the side. It could smash his confidence to drop him now, just because Lethal Dezzle is back in the fold.

I agree, there's a lot going on with that, for me.

Bit of a sweeping generalisation, is that, to be fair. I'm not a twenty something, but I can still differentiate between my posterior and my elbow. Social media is a necessary evil that enables absolute whoppers to upload millions of selfies of them with animal parts on accompanied by crying laughing emojis, but it's good to help keeping in touch with folk, so it's a trade-off. Either way, Snapchat filters are just about the most infantile thing anyone can use.....

Been out and can’t be bothered reading 18 pages of this thread tbh. We got slapped 4-1 and brought right back down to earth, seemingly. Re Dack’s private life- as long as what he does off the pitch doesn’t affect what he does on it, then it’s none of our business.

Think we are playing them at the end of the month as well....

I still think it’s down to the individual, fundamentally. Some are keener than others, some work nights/live further away, therefore can’t get to midweek matches as easily. I’d sooner go to a game over watching it on TV, any day of the week, but not everyone else is like me.
