It’s not really realistic to compare recent(ish) European and World Cup winners Spain with Croatia tbf. Croatia have been excellent this tournament and fully deserving of their plaudits IMO.

If Kane played in the last game, which was a dead rubber anyway and gets injured, Southgate gets terrorised even more, the lad can’t win! It would have been nice to win, but this is England! We always make hard work of it. What if we win the group then get the ‘easier’ draw and lose anyway? If you want to win tournaments, you have to beat the best regardless. As it happens, Colombia might just be without James Rodriguez, which is a big blow for them. If we play at our best, we are more than capable of beating Colombia. The way some on here are going on, you’d think we’d drawn Spain. Relax yourselves.

People are reading too much into fans saying that we didn't play well a lot of the time last season IMO. For clarification: a) Fundamentally, (and I imagine everyone else is the same) I don't care how well we play as long as we win. b) I, along with many others said all last season that we didn't play well but were often bailed out by Dack, Graham and Mulgrew for the most part and to a lesser extent, Raya. c) I went to all games at home and only the one away, so I can't speak for all 46 games, obviously, but for any confusion, see point 'A'. d) It is still possible to criticise the team and still give them credit for achieving promotion.

There will be tons of East Lancashire plastics in the home ends that I won’t be able to cope with, I just know it...
