People are allowed their own opinions, but there’s definitely an expectation that people should hold their hands up when they get it wrong. At the moment though, people that said he wouldn’t get a move anywhere good, are wrong. I’m saying that’s okay, but to then say ‘let’s see how he gets on’, I don’t agree, I’m afraid. ‘Let’s wait until I might be right again in a few years?’ Do me a favour. He got a good move, then if he fails and ends up back in the Champo on loan, then fair enough, but he’s currently a La Liga player, when some said he was lower Championship or League one at best. I reckon a lot of the posts with people trying themselves in knots, over the last couple of pages could have been avoided, if people just held their hands up and said ‘I was wrong’. There’s absolutely tons of music worth listening to these days, it just needs to be found.

By saying they’re a ‘Strokes tribute band’, just proves how little of their music you’ve heard or actively listened to. Don’t just give into nostalgia and sentiment. I thought you were better than ‘it’s better because it was my era’. They’re absolutely nothing like Kneecap, only similarity is that they come from the Island of Ireland. Think on.

I’m 41 years old and I’d happily have Bellamy over anyone, bar Shearer in my lifetime.

I guess it's easy to say Oasis are better than everyone else at the minute, but one could easily argue, that Oasis have 2 good albums and Fontaines D.C. are massive, having a huge impact and already have 4 storming albums. Can't wait to see them in August. I feel like it's far too easy to look back, than look forward and nostalgia is a lovely comfort blanket, but music has only ever progressed by things changing and things being done differently, not re-hashing the same things over and over again.

I never understand why people have to rate something as being so good or bad, instead of just ‘it’s not for me, but it’s fair enough if other people like it’. Imagine someone being my that arrogant that they think their opinion trumps everyone else and they won’t listen to any different opinions. What a world we live in.

It absolutely could do, if they're thrown into the first team too quickly and make loads of mistakes. Then dent their confidence in the process and their careers never recover. Countless examples of that over the years.
