  1. for supporters who visited Salzburg and cannot make Poland, get your application form in NOW. 800 official supporters travelled to Austria, would imagine 300 will make it to Poland. Rovers have had a LOT of interest in this up coming trip to Holland and have already received MANY applications. I went to the ticket office earlier and things were very busy for feyenoord applications. I would seriously suspect 2000 plus is a very realistic away following. Roll on November
  2. Pabby only one phrase fits "Y O U B L O O D Y N U M P T Y !!!!" have a good break, in particular the wifes leg when we whoop em 3-0
  3. I think I would be very happy with a draw, I am just glad that this game isnt the last one in the group where we may need a point to progress. 0-0 for me
  4. the axeman cometh...........
  5. Its always nice when an away fan especially a local visits our site. his reckoning (or is a her) is that Bolton will sell 7500 tickets, as of 15 minutes ago they have sold just over 3800, I rang the ticket office ! I just have to agree with one or two things he did say, yes Bolton beat a very poor Newcastle side easily on Sunday, and NO Blackburn will probably NOt sell all our tickets. Bolton have a very POOR away following WHEREVER they go. Bolton play an odd style of football, some would say similar to Rovers, NOT too attractive, solid and hardworking. The only thing you left out PW is that you have a blatant CHEAT at the front ! Spit the diver will get strung if he carries on his antics in winding players and fans up, he should get roasted for what he did at Newcastle - LITERALLY. I am looking forward to a 28500 plus crowd, a good old Lancashire/Manchester derby ( yes you got kicked out of Lancs) and a positive outcome for the Ewood men. Its time to get one over the whites at home.
  6. how lucky some you lot are ! Anyone else recall Sealand Road ? The Vetch ? Gay Meadow ? Cold Blow Lane ? Turd Moor before it grew two stands ? Bloomfield Road ? Gigg Lane ? Central Park ? these are some of the top sh$tholes that have had the courtesy of hosting BRFC
  7. been at work since 0800hrs this morning and just got back, I only managed to grab the last 15 mins on the radio. pleased as punch with the result, stopped lfc thieves from taking another 3 points, we remain above them in the league and are on a confiednt roll into Europe for Thursday. it appears Rovers are picking up the pace, settling themselves down with some confident football. there is a strange kind of magic settling over Ewood Park, guess where I put my lottery ticket on ?
  8. just shows that the media and its so called experts are quite often wrong. Cannot see any reason whatsoever the choose any other club over Rovers (except the big 3)
  9. The club is working wonders 7.50 for each game PRICELESS
  10. hey up dingle nice to hear from you again. bumley are the surprise package in div championship so far. you no doubt are amongs the few bumley fans who will have vertigo at the heights your team has so far reached. Dont worry, the nose bleeds will stop from next Saturday onwards as you free fall into oblivion when Cottrill leaves the turd for wba. As for your arch enemies, the futire is MArk Hughes, the future is BLUE and WHITE
  11. you mean they're all queer ?
  12. from my experience both in job and as an England follower the dutch boys run just as quick, have big mouths and are not any more scarier than little ol ladies crossing the street
  13. BRING BACK SGE That was the biggest pile of poo I have ever witnessed in recent years. The worst ever England game in the past 5 years against a second rate team. Lampard is crud, the partnership of Gerrard and Carrick is pretty dam useless and Downing was nothing more than rubbish today. I hope that Rooney and Defoe start on Wed with SWP on the wing as we have today lost 2 easy points and with the Russkis and Isreal drawing we could have marched one step further to qualifying, but, England being England we fail to take advantage. BTW Congratulations to the FRISPS who have just dicked the froggies
  14. Nice reply scf08 I am definately not worried, My ticket is guaranteed ! I am concerend that people think the dutch supporters will be out in numbers, I dont think so as I expect feyenoord will have bagged 6 points before they entertain us. I am looking forward to the trip and the game as I genuinely feel Rovers are well equipped to deal with the way feyenoord play. Sorry dutchy, 1-0 Rovers
  15. Some further information for the supporters staying at Europa 92 in Amsterdam from Central station take tram 1 and get off at the stop marked overtoom. the hotel is situated 1 minute away on the opposite side of the road. It would appear that this is very central to ALL the bars and a mere 4 minute walk from the avenue, a 10 minute wobble or in Jordans case a 6 hour slow trek
  16. There is a very simple point that a lot of Rovers supporters are missing. Lucas is a typical Australian, he has a bloody big gob and cannot think before he opens it ! Its the one attribute that most Aussie men are born with, its a dna thing. He cant keep his gob shut coz he is a big mouthed braindead muppet who happens to be good at a sport and maybe thinks he is actually a lot better than he really is. Let him go at the end of his contract, he wont pull any big punches at a bigger club and he certainyl wont command any more money than he is on at Rovers, the market wont allow it and really, if he thinks he can displace Finnan at Liverpool, he is mistaken, that is the only big club in for him at the moment, I do not consider Newcastle any bigger than us apart from support numbers and the fact they have big fat fred at the helm who is considerably bigger than JW ! If he wants to go around spouting without realising that Rovers have supporters all over the world and who may just be watching the idiot and may listen to what he says the that alone quantifies the braindead attribute that I have levelled at him. JHC i have met some real tossers in life and he is rapidly close to joining the top 10
  17. For feyenoords last euro game there was a crowd of 22000 in a stadium which holds 55k. Who thinks that Blackburn Rovers are going to attract a crowd of around 35k or mor e? Lets be serious here Rovers are not a top drawer attraction amongs the likes of manure or liverpool. Of course EVERYONE will get tickets as we will be allocated a substantial part of the stadium.
  18. spot on Nayef the ref spot worrie sme greatly about this game. But something has to give with Liverpool and they have to lose at home sometime so why not versus Rovers ? Hard fought game but I dont see anything positive for Rovers as you can see the outcome now :- Liverpool 1 -0 Rovers - Bellamy scores his first league goal off his arse with a triple deflection via lucas Neills hand of go imitation ! Rovers to finsih the game with 13 bookings and 3 sending offs, Liverpool fans steal the coach wheels, the refs car and burn the linesmans flags and despite whatever happans rafa the fat spicko git will not have seen anything untowards in the post match interview
  19. For those supporters staying at Europa92 hotel in Amsterdam, I have had a response from the hotel who are waiting with open arms to welcome supporters of BRFC. From the airport you need to catch the train to central station cost in euro 3.50. At central station catch tram 1, 2 or 5 for Leidseplein and the hotel is a mere 4 minute walk. Similarly the cost of a taxi from the airport is 35 euros. They are sending me some more information soon.
  20. Maybe we should nominate a bar for the get together Thursday before and after the game. Seems like Rovers fans could create a little bit of an away day special on the train from Amsterdam to Rotterdam
  21. cant see eddie elaving he is M Hughes right hand man and best friend
  22. I personally cannot see any reason to moan about this opportunity. There are many positives to achieve if the fans take the bait and come to the ground. As a long standing ST holder I dont have any gripes but I would like the club to consider a similar scenario for the ST holders and regular away supporters in the form of a reduced travel and/or ticket but hey I am realistic. I cant wait for Bolton, the home match hoodoo has to end and it will THIS YEAR and what better way to end it than in fron tof a full house. Jim, even you can take the zimmer and wheelchair option if you like
  23. full houses in poland and feyenoord should pocket us a few quid. a decent home crowd for nancy should be achieved basle is the kink in the equation, I cant see no more than a crowd of around 14000 for that game.
