first of all you shouldnt have paid that much it appeared tehg oing rate was 50 euro for a 15 minute jump ! So either you got ripped off or your a Blackburn Stud secondly, a black lad came in the bar we were in - The Skandinavia (behind the banana bar) and sold a digital camera, unboxed and no leads, he got 30 euro for it. Is this your camera ? I am pretty certain that if it is yours I may know the person who now has it. Please pm a full description with make and model and if it fits I might be able to arrange a full recovery. Anyone on the train to Schipol Friday that was with our lot, does anyone recall taking the pi$$ out fo the lad who bought the towel rail, lantern and barometer ? a top effort -

Well what can I say ? this litile branch of the Rovers European traveeling army ahs just returned home To be a Rovers fan in Holland was just simply superb, each and every one of us can be proud to have represented BRFC, it truly was an occasion that I wouldnt have missed for anything. The match was just a game of football, the bragging rights came to Ewoods fantastic away supporters. I dont want to make any further comment on the game but I want to reiterate just how proud we Rovers fans can be of our fellow supporters. I had a great time with the other members of my group and we have just landed back via a delay to brum and a beer in Bolton. small town in Europe? Yes we are and were PROUD of it -

Personally I thought the ref was a complete door handle Rovers toothless up front with Pederson doing more drifting out than in and that annoyed me cause when he could be bothered he caused problems, Benltey flattered to deceive and why doesnt his peripheral vision work when Bert is running the line ? Tugay was class until he was wrongfully sent off and for those who aint seen it you gotta watch MOTD2. Andre was the MOTM followed closely by Gray which was nice to see after his rcent diabolical tripe. Henchoz was quite superb alongside Andre. Savage played well apart from losing hsi head for a short while after Tugays dismissal. The two front men had no supply again and when they found themselves in good positions they had no support. Bentley was in and out like Pederson. So we take a home point, more like 2 points dropped imo as spurs are way off the team we played last season. So, its now onto Holland for our latest Euro adventure, cant wait -

It might be a case of just who can put a half decent team out as they have as many injuries as us. At the moment chimpbondi, davenport, lennon, king, gardener, stalteri and jenas are all out for them UNLESS of course the Engand syndrome injury gets better for jenas and Lennon ! -

[Archived] Vinjay's Latest Rant
1864roverite replied to Glenn's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
an improvement in European games Vinjay ! Yes a draw away and a win versus Salzburg, were you there ? An away win in Poland, were you there ? A home win versus Basle ? were you there ? 3000 away Rovers fans invading Holland when we play Feyenoord, will you be there ? An initiative at home to the winkers laid on by the Club and JW, were you there ? The introduction of the card for loyal supporters, cheap tickets for season ticket holders in the Euro games and a cheap ticket for Chelsea in The Cup, were you there ? You see my little uneducated half wit, Rovers are making lots of effort to win back the wavering fans. We are succeeding slowly but surely, we have a slight increase in ST Holders and our home crowds are steady at the moment. We are financially afloat and the club is steady in the league. Just what more can be done at this present time ? Answers on a post card please to JW @ BRFC -

yes I have had a negative view on him previously but if you reread my last posts on him I have been more than impressed by his performances, I do, hoever, ramin sceptical at him playing football with his invisible friend who gladly hasnt been on the same pitch as him so far this season -

My father in law is a st holder at Anfield, word is that Rovers ahve all but agreed a deal with lfc for the Neill and Warnock deal to go throgh, it involves a small cash adjustment ! there are serious doubts about bellamy lasting the season at Anfield due to a bust up with J A Riise in training, it would appear that he may find himself on a loan deal come January as theya re seeking to bring in at least 1 new striker. -
[Archived] Should Dunny Have Come Home?
1864roverite replied to blinddevotion's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
He wont fetch more than 500k with 6 months on his contract left, brum will have to let him go at a ridiculous loss and he wil only move to one place, his beloved Rovers. Dunny may find himself in the next few weeks or so getting fitter and fitter with a point of putting him firmly in Rovers sights however I dont see him moving until right up to the end of January as brum become desperate for cash for him. 500k on him is not a waste of money, its one place in the Premiership and I dont see it as a gamble, twinning him with Tugay may prove very valuable for Rovers. Come home son and bring Bellamy and your good mate Duffer with you -

volatile supporters ? cock of the north they sing ? didnt realise it had started ? trouble unavoidable ? Lets put a few things into perspective redfan. Volatile supporters are not needed at ANY football ground and imo united fans are in no way volatile more like DOCILE. cock of the north ? think not. didnt realise it had started ? what a load of tosh ! Every game over the weekend has observed a minutes silence, every clubs supporters APART from YOURS has respected that silence. unavoidable trouble ? again you make yourself sound like a complete and utter idiot. Of course it was unavoidable, just how do you explain 15000 pounds worth of damage ? I always enjoy fellow supporters coming on and having an intelligent discussion, your post didnt fit that criteria

if you read the sunday papers, it states the likes of barca and co are seriously interested in him. Now forgive me for this, but from what I know and se of our Lucas he aint world class, he certainly does not fit the cloth for thee clubs that are being mentioned and it would all appear to be the work of his agent. his agents big gob is akin to lucas's big ego (and mouth). I dont see how he could even get in Barcas reserve team never mind the first 11, as for Inter ? well please dont make me laugh, its Armistice day not April Fools day
