feyenoord conceded 4 goals on their last outing so I think they will lose out tonight. I am going to watch this game tonight to see how Nancy approach the game.

ditto I echo Jordans views on this it was unorganised and I dont think that they were prepared for such a wholesome bunch of Rovers supporters who on the face of it were well behaved, well received, drunk or stoned, and just there to support their team (and visit the museums and RLD). I know the locals we talked to put our small club way and above anyone else who has visited Holland in the past few years. -

pointless thread, we are far better than Newcastle and we should hopefully start to move up the table from this point onwards. We have no worries or distractions now with euro knock out stages guaranteed, that is on the back burner now until February. We are also out of the Carling Cup so again, a break from taht should see us now concentrating on the league. we have some very winable games coming up and I look forward to seeing Rovers move on up the transfer window will soon be here, players will be returning from injury, some will be going and others will come in. The pending return of Reid and Nelsen will fortify Rovers, both in defence and midfield. Roberts will ease the burden on the front two as will a effevescent Jeffers. The selling of Matteo and Todd and probably others will see the wage bill lessen, the addition of a loan player and more importantly a midfielder and attacker will see us again on the edges of the top 6. Who knows, you might just see Rovers enter the last 16 of the eufa cup and get the draw of our dreams whilst some favourites bite the dust. The New Year cannot come quickly enough for Rovers as Santa I beleive has a bloody great big parcel all wrapped up for Mark Hughes and co. -
The Wheelton Blues ahd actually been to Loret de Mar and on the day trip to the Nou camp, we actually spoke to Archibald the day he signed for Rovers. We had some photographs done which appeared in the LET. The look of agony on Stevies fce when he scored the 3rd goal made it all worth while

If we can ever recover the coverage from itv sport on the Rovers fans for this one, I am actually on my mates shoulders when the players went in the stand and we took the pitch, I got one of the Rovers shirts which to this day still has the blood on it. Its my prized possession and really took some explaining to Mum and dad as I was actually grounded from going for not doing my homework ! I sneaked out of the bathroom window, on to the garage roof and away with the rest of that travelling army. The weeks grounding later was well worth it

Chorley V Pne At Ewood

remember Burnden well. As a villager from Wheelton we actually supported the townies from Chorley, taking a supporting task force from Wheelton, Higher Wheelton, Brinscall and Whittle. There was about 60 of us in all and that train ride to Bolton was just a great day out. Does anyone remember the Wolves train coming in adjacent to the "chorley" platform and getting every window done ? That was a scary scenario especially when fans were on the track exchanging blows. -

Jan pm me yr email address and I can assist you in this, we need to get rid of the minute low life that brings us down and it is a minority I may add. I dont want my love for all things blue and white to be tainted by such moronic chanting. I can ensure the pic goes to the right person -

[ Another reason was that the train journey back to Amsterdam was always going to a nightmare quote] That train journey was the smoothest ride you will ever get on a train, hot it was but really, the transport system in place is second to none -
I can see a Rovers win after a nice break savouring the next round qualification in Europe. Pearce is out suspended after being sent off is he not ? If so he leaves a big gap behind him that even Nonda and benni can find a way through. For me the key is playing Jeffers from the off and leaving Bert in the right midfield slot rather than right back. Jeffers to score 1-0 Blues

first of all you shouldnt have paid that much it appeared tehg oing rate was 50 euro for a 15 minute jump ! So either you got ripped off or your a Blackburn Stud secondly, a black lad came in the bar we were in - The Skandinavia (behind the banana bar) and sold a digital camera, unboxed and no leads, he got 30 euro for it. Is this your camera ? I am pretty certain that if it is yours I may know the person who now has it. Please pm a full description with make and model and if it fits I might be able to arrange a full recovery. Anyone on the train to Schipol Friday that was with our lot, does anyone recall taking the pi$$ out fo the lad who bought the towel rail, lantern and barometer ? a top effort -

Well what can I say ? this litile branch of the Rovers European traveeling army ahs just returned home To be a Rovers fan in Holland was just simply superb, each and every one of us can be proud to have represented BRFC, it truly was an occasion that I wouldnt have missed for anything. The match was just a game of football, the bragging rights came to Ewoods fantastic away supporters. I dont want to make any further comment on the game but I want to reiterate just how proud we Rovers fans can be of our fellow supporters. I had a great time with the other members of my group and we have just landed back via a delay to brum and a beer in Bolton. small town in Europe? Yes we are and were PROUD of it -

Personally I thought the ref was a complete door handle Rovers toothless up front with Pederson doing more drifting out than in and that annoyed me cause when he could be bothered he caused problems, Benltey flattered to deceive and why doesnt his peripheral vision work when Bert is running the line ? Tugay was class until he was wrongfully sent off and for those who aint seen it you gotta watch MOTD2. Andre was the MOTM followed closely by Gray which was nice to see after his rcent diabolical tripe. Henchoz was quite superb alongside Andre. Savage played well apart from losing hsi head for a short while after Tugays dismissal. The two front men had no supply again and when they found themselves in good positions they had no support. Bentley was in and out like Pederson. So we take a home point, more like 2 points dropped imo as spurs are way off the team we played last season. So, its now onto Holland for our latest Euro adventure, cant wait -

It might be a case of just who can put a half decent team out as they have as many injuries as us. At the moment chimpbondi, davenport, lennon, king, gardener, stalteri and jenas are all out for them UNLESS of course the Engand syndrome injury gets better for jenas and Lennon ! -

an improvement in European games Vinjay ! Yes a draw away and a win versus Salzburg, were you there ? An away win in Poland, were you there ? A home win versus Basle ? were you there ? 3000 away Rovers fans invading Holland when we play Feyenoord, will you be there ? An initiative at home to the winkers laid on by the Club and JW, were you there ? The introduction of the card for loyal supporters, cheap tickets for season ticket holders in the Euro games and a cheap ticket for Chelsea in The Cup, were you there ? You see my little uneducated half wit, Rovers are making lots of effort to win back the wavering fans. We are succeeding slowly but surely, we have a slight increase in ST Holders and our home crowds are steady at the moment. We are financially afloat and the club is steady in the league. Just what more can be done at this present time ? Answers on a post card please to JW @ BRFC
