I think we at Blackburn Rovers FC have a little more to worry about than the smugness of one Alan Pardew and co Lets get our own house in order first ! Oh, yet another club in crisis due at Ewood Park, a club that wishes itself modelled on ours in the way that it is run and in the way that is successful. bring em on -

I think we are certainly guaranteed that LN will see red following the yellow card. Rovers will continue to acrue the records for the most off sides in Benni ! We wont keep a clean sheet tonight, you can feel it -

A lot of Rovers fans seem to be unerestimating the threat of Charlton Athletic at their home ground. Although I would expect a Rovers win this place has never proved a haven for Rovers wins over the years, even when we have been comfortably ahead ! I would be happy with a 1-0 scrappy win but can see Rovers struggling to cope with both reid and rohmedal -

The reality of today game at Ewood Park is that Rovers got 3 points. There is no point in moaning about the crowd, its the lead up to Christmas FFS. There is no point in moaning about the performance, a win was all that was needed and in fact the weather was atrocious. For me, I would like to point out the following. Brad was his usual, calm and collective goalkeeping with a marvellous save at the end. It was really all he had to do all game. Henchoz and Andre were very comfortable against a rugged and hardworking set of front men both who were good in the air and not afraid to put the boot or head in. Back in defence Gray also played particularly well, I will mention LN later. In the middle, we saw the type of player Bentley will become under Mark Hughes. He was simply a class act. He has the skill and movement, he just needs to work a little on his vision. Savage was his usual workaholic, very unlcuky with his booking which I will mention later. Bert was in his element whulst MGP flattered to deceive again. Up front the Benni and Nonda show clicked and both snaffled good goal scorers goals. Both looked hungry and up for it despite the cold weather. So then, what do I make of LN today ? I clamoured for the armband to be removed from him and I also clamoured for him to be benched at best. I am pleased to say that I was wrong and should really make the most of seeing him play out the last of his 6 games in a blue and white shirt before he moves to Anfield. He worked his socks off and deserved a goal. He was my MOTM. Thats the players, now the crowd. 132 fans from the city came to Ewood to add to our faithful following. People can whinge all they like, its Christmas and all crowds for clubs like ours going to be affected, it happens every single year. It wil happen again when Newcastle arrive on Saturday. We normally see 7000 of the bar codes but as it stands they have sold just less than 2000 tickets for the game. NOW my biggest gripe about today. The referee BENNETT. What a kukin clown he is. When Savo made that tackle, referee Bennett moved 14yards at break neck speed, like a gazelle making off from a tiger, hand on whistle, other hand in shorts and pencil being sharpened by his ego. He slammed on right in Savos face and brandished the yellow card before anyone could say anything about anything. If anyone else recalls he did exactly the same with Savo in his first tackle of a game earlier on this season (I think). he hates Savo and every first challenge he seems to make with this muppet in charge is met with a yellow card. On the other hand if your a Fulham player, it seemed that you could do anything you wanted and get away with it. I mean the wardrobe that is DIOP. 6 fouls, all worthy of individual cards. Brown, 4 fouls likewise, Pearce and Rosenior alike, Helguson should have been sent off TWICE ! The guy is a complete tosser and should not referee top flight games. END of GRIPES, just happy with the 3 points. Come on Rovers bring on the bar codes

....but then again Paul The Human Rights Act instilled by this inept government would see you up for a court appearance if anyone took offence at your Bolchevistik view at a fellow human beings views ! EVERY person is allowed to have a view about ANYTHING unless the said thing is a matter that will seriously undermine the threat of harm against our country etc etc etc etc so beware THENO's legal eagles maybe watching -
I wasnt over impressed at all with the diving, cheating and theatrics of Nancy but then what do you expect from the French ? For me the only decent player they have is Kim and if you look at his away and the clubs away stats they dont seem to play the same type of game. Rovers need not worry about N Lorraine, two main reasons are the weather and the fact that they come up against an ENGLISH, NORTHERN OUTFIT. 2-0 Rovers, man mountain sent off for them for hauling down Benni and Bert to run riot down the right oh yes chirac to accept that France's tricolour to be identified with the flag of Italy, in a nice YELLOW colour

on the other hand it proves without doubt that the American takeover and influx of debt on the club has taken far more than any of their fans could have imagined. A different view would be this.....Torres was being touted as a 21million pound signing in January and instead they get a freebie -

Lets take look at how Rovers can come out of this scenario and the alternatives. If they sell him now then they must do so as close to 1st Jan as possible so as not to disrupt the team. For me, the armband should be removed now and handed to Andre or Tugay. I think that Rovers should consider only using Lucas as a sub for the time being, save him being injured and costing us even greater in the long run. I personally think we should take the Liverpool option and take young Warnock plus cash, or even better and judging by the Livepool crowd reaction last night, take Pennant on loan as part of the deal. That leaves Bert as right back plus Pennant as the right winger, we also have a reasonable left back then with Warnock vastly better than Gray. An adequate replacement for Lucas is young Halford at Colchester. He is tall and fast, he can tackle and only lacks top flight experience. He would come relatively cheaply, both in transfer fee and wages. Should Rovers decide not to cash in on him then we lose hands down. A disgruntled player on the books will do nothing for morale and he walks for free anyway. I really think that Lucas has had his head swayed by the media attention. he is NOT guaranteed any first team football at ANY club that has been mentioned that are in for him. Liverpool may be his preferred option but he would only play in the league games and the FA Cup at best. It is my view tht he is no better than Finnan with exception of cards given and dishing out rash tackles. Barca ? Milan ? kiss my hairy bottom. He simply is not good enough to play for those clubs, Chelsea !! Cant see that happening either. As for Newcastle or Villa? doe they really offer better options than Rovers ? Both will probably pay more cash but neither have a better chance of winning trophies than Rovers. I have had my gripes with players over the many years that I have followed Rovers but LN is rapidly becoming a member of "my most despised club". The club have offered everything and more yet all he does is give his anseers to the media through his big gob or his advisor, he has failed to speak to hsi club supporters and that shows a lack of respect. GET RID -
Bob, were you not the hairy arsed lad seen running away from Ting Tong in the first window after the Banana Bar ? I am sure we could all hear it shouting "Bob come back I love you take me home with you" cracking read

Quentin Crisp actually mentioned Corporation Park in one of his many books ! Although I wont make any admission as to actually reading any of them, I worked on an incident in Witton Park a good few years ago which resulted in some research being conducted
