  1. You don’t just switch the undersoil heating on and it’s not there to melt snow 😅 it automatically kicks in as a certain temperature is reached and it is not allowed to be on one hour before the game starts nor during the game . Bits neither embarrassing or a discredit to Ewood, The club or its owners the bloody ref thought player safety was the decisive factor and that alone stands as the reason. Both clubs wanted to play the ref did not allow it !
  2. Simon frost wasn’t going to be an issue as far as I can tell, the under soil heating is auto and is to prevent the pitch from freezing, a ground sheet is also used to prevent frost primarily not rain, especially in the amount that has poured down this last few days. The sole issue is drainage and drainage alone. The water cannot drain if the river is high especially when it breaches the overflow from Ewood park, the water just will not fast enough to allow sufficient run off. It isn’t down to Rovers not relaying the pitch last year, it’s not down to BRFC or venkys or costs. until the Riverside is developed there is no permission to alter the river flow and channels hence why we see when there is sustained downpours the pitch is waterlogged. PNE was a prime example the water was not draining off the surface due to a high river level. As the sun rise and temperature rose there was always going to be additional water running off and add this to a referee who took player safety as a primary the answers lies at his feet and his feet only. That is my opinion of course.
  3. Undersoil heating doesn’t melt the snow it merely prevents the pitch from freezing. Anyone who thinks there is anything untoward other than the ref deeming it unfit for play is way off the mark in the current woke down climate ! Back in the days of old I’ve played on may pitches that these modern day ballers wouldn’t even walk in let alone try and play - Sunday football in 5 inch of ice and snow was the norm in Chorley leagues especially at brinscall
  4. Even Harrogate's home game was called off and they have a plastic pitch ! It is down to weather and player safety it is as simple as that. on a plus side got all my ironing done ready for my break to Mexico on Wednesday 🌞✈️
  5. I would say they are totally gone if this is true
  6. Oh don’t get me wrong I have previously fully advocated changes behind the scenes as well as the manager. However I know full well the changes that have happened that continue to happen the ambition and planning that is in progress and I am allowed to have changed my point of view based on that. The point being as highlighted many believe issues behind the scenes prevent players from signing and constantly lay blame on the club todays news contract for TK dismisses that notion! In fact I am happy to suggest that another deal is very close to being done and dusted👍. It shows that neither SW or TM can be held to blame
  7. Goes a long way to disproving the bad behind the scenes scenario painted by many😅😅😅
  8. Once again we have morons in the Blackburn End, throwing bottles onto the pitch towards the Forest keeper resulting in a warning being given over the broadcast tannoy inside the ground. What kind of idiotic scumbag supporter are we allowing to get away with this behaviour inside the ground? Its now time for the good fans to take this forward and SHOP THE SCUM who blight our clubs colours and trash the very good name of our supporters. We have an element of away supporters who think they are great because they have a few glasses of cheap lager, shout abuse and let off smoke bombs inside grounds - the same louts also run as fast as they an when they are approached by opposition supporters and/or police. We have a small minority who throw bottles on the pitch, home and away? Just what the fuck do they think that is achieving? Its time to shop a scum bag. In todays world of technology its easy to get a camera shot of the lout. Lets do everything we can to get this scum loutish lot out and away from our club forever.
  9. First half was abysmal at best, Rovers were just not in the game. My observations - defeat is costly. Mowbray got the team selection totally wrong from the off. Buckley - as good as he is/can be has cost us 6 points over two games with lazy finishing and a laid back attitude. His frustration is a worry as he ends up getting booked, costing us possession where invariably we concede. Captain numb nuts - stupid challenge and again, a costly sending off. Cant fault the second half efforts with 10 men, but what it showed was Forest carved through us with ease, even with 11 on the pitch and emphasised the short fall in Mowbrays selection. Injuries are now taking its toll and the season is ending in a whimper of this carries on. Finally - Ref? what a fooking joke of a ref, unfit and did not control the game.
  10. On the way to Ewood a really tough game tonight👏🏻 COYB⚽️
  11. Check out hotels near Wembley😂 we booked 8 rooms nearby for £65 B and B at the Hilton, just in case with feee cancellation of course
  12. Very tough game, after the loss at Swansea it’s important to win this game. Lose and our hopes of second spot are over, win and it is all back on
  13. Rovers need to get a grip in midfield
  14. He doesn’t take the man on enough
  15. We have yet to see Nyambe take on manning e outpaces him by miles but repeatedly returns back
  16. Terrible miss going to cost us big time
  17. Wrong the three centre halves were too far apart pvh went awol
  18. It’s my view at the timing of his actions if he continues to perform 100% in the shirt he will have my support
  19. Just heard the news, I dont think they will be looking at Mowbray not yet anyway
  20. Approaching 55 last nights footballing performance reminded me that in this Rovers team where chances are created even me with 2 knackered knees could score goals 😀you never ever forget where the onion bag is and on that basis I would make myself available if BBD gets injured I wouldn’t want paying it would be a dream to put on that shirt however a nice pie with a lager or maybe a chicken biryani as an alternative would do the trick 😅👍😅⚽️⚽️
  21. Another tough game but one we shoudnt be afraid of going there to win. A close game with 1 goal taking the spoils
  22. Snodgrass can never command high wages again that’s why he is unemployed
  23. The things that don’t add up ? Dembele fee agreed he chose Bournemouth nothing to do with Rovers. Other offers were made none were accepted not Rovers fault if clubs demand too much ! What baffles me is letting Butterworth go as we have very little cover up front UNLESS there are some freebies out there
  24. Mist will move back to their clubs whilst they will have to sell their other good players
