  1. If Ferguson does get the job, I think he will bring Unsworth with him as his number 2 and a coach who has previously been on Rovers' staff. Let's see how far off the mark that proves to be.
  2. You would be surprised! However, sadly, Denise and John Coates have no interest in Rovers.
  3. Ferguson is now odds on with those bookies who have a market and the odds are shortening. Might not be a 'big' market but clearly 'knowledge' and money placed are driving the odds down.
  4. An interesting one! Some journalists saying he's about to be appointed and Nicko saying he hasn't even been spoken to! For what it's worth, I've been saying for some time the interest in Ferguson was real and strong and I challenged a number of posters on this MB who perhaps have some knowledge of proceedings at Ewood to come out and say Ferguson has not been interviewed - not one did. If Ferguson and Rovers have been in discussions, does anyone really think Ferguson or folk around him or who know him (like Myers) will come out and confirm!?
  5. Nicko is catching up! This happened some two weeks ago. Now you know some of the 'heavyweight' support behind Ferguson.
  6. IMO, shambolic and I don't think the right hand knows what the left hand is doing. Unbelievable that an organisation like Rovers with huge business owners like Venky's can 'shut up shop' for four days over the Bank Holiday weekend. Feckin hell, we are talking about the appointment of THE KEY individual who can either make or break our club! I think this is all reminiscent of the flip flopping and indecision when Coyle was appointed over Warnock and when, IMO, Mowbray was heading for the exit door in April 2021 to be replaced by Wilder or Neil (think as close as Warnock came to getting the job) only for the brakes to be suddenly slammed on. Not even Glen Mullan can make sense of what the hell is presently going on. Understand the DOF will be a very familiar name with Rovers' fans but do worry how effective he will be when seemingly he has no input into the appointment of our next manager.
  7. What world does Jackson live in!? Sky closed market for Burnley manager and will be closing market for Rovers' manager should odds goes much below the current 4/11 for Ferguson.
  8. Would he be my choice - probably not. Yep, I've got a few quid on him because I think the chances of him landing the job are very high so why wouldn't I buy a ticket for the raffle? Betting for me is fun and always was and always will be!
  9. I think this is where many supporters struggle with Rovers. If Farke was first choice why simply not go all out to appoint him without going through countless interviews and processes! You say Farke was first choice rather than Farke is first choice - does that mean you think circumstances have now changed?
  10. Clearly, Glen is still extremely confident about Farke's appointment. Farke is now 12/1 so if anyone wants to make big money then lump on Farke as seemingly you can't lose.
  11. Ferguson is very highly rated in the football world for his knowledge and coaching abilities. I think there is a brain to go with the brawn!
  12. I know who my money would be on. Ferguson rated as the hardest PL player of all time by Shearer and Shearer couldn't half handle himself! If appointed, think we can say Ewood/Brockhall will be no holiday camp and not for the faint hearted. IMO, a few rockets needed up a few arses at Rovers.
  13. Think Ferguson has some serious backing for this appointment from within football - it's not just Myers! He is very highly respected in the game. Odds have tumbled and he's now odds on.
  14. How did your sightings of Dyche in La Manga go or your delusional ramblings/nonsense that Mowbray chased Maja all year but was squeezed out for financial reasons. Hasn't one poster come out and said Mowbray could have signed Maja in January but chose not to!!! Not interested in willy waving but you do insist in having a go at me. Only interested in sharing information that comes my way that others might find of interest. Might be wrong here but suspect I was the first to post about Ferguson's interview and the heavyweight backing for him. What did you last break or spew, other than wind and verbal diarrhoea?
  15. I will challenge @Bbrovers2288 @unleaded @glen9mullan or @alderson777or anyone else you want to name on this MB to say with 100% certainty Ferguson HAS NOT been interviewed. Ferguson wouldn't necessarily be my choice but my information is he has been interviewed, is a favoured candidate and has real heavyweight backing from a number of people and one in particular (who might raise eyebrows).
  16. As always in most aspects of life, the devil is in the detail!!!! Sharpe says "should Rovers look to speak with in-work managers". Well neither Ferguson nor Beale is currently a manager and therefore do not fall into that category!!!!
  17. More certain than ever about this tonight. Make no mistake, Ferguson has got heavyweight backers.
  18. I think Carvalhal and Farke have now 'gone'. Stuck sizeable money this afternoon on Duncan Ferguson and odds range from 6/1 to 10/1 and I think these will fall pretty quickly. I wouldn't mind Ferguson at all - think he could galvanize both club and supporters and turn us into a Mark Hughes type team (hated by the opposition and their fans).
  19. In which case I'd say nowt about owt. Nothing worse than a poster inferring they know something but can't say any more.
  20. You seem very confident! Suggest if you think you know then put your balls on the chopping board and share with the rest of us like others do!
