Very much doubt it. The way teams are picking up points even 50 (11 more points) may not be enough. 11 games to go and think we will need either 4 wins and a draw or 3 wins and 4 draws to have a half decent chance of staying up. Based on our form over the last 3 months that is one helluva tall order.

v Millwall (h) - 5/3/24

Said it before, our medical / sports science department needs looking at. IMO, something seriously wrong with the number of injuries we pick up and the length of time it takes to get players back. Think it's just another example of how our club has been dumbed down. Signing of Fleck was diabolically amateurish. Had barely kicked a ball for 12 months following two broken leg issues. We shouldn't have touched him with a barge pole. Our medics and Broughton, IMO, need bollicking at the very least, if not sacking. -

and if we don't? Think a 'must win' game is over used and mainly used incorrectly. A 'must win' game is a one-off game where there is something at stake ie win the game and avoid the drop. Obviously, tomorrow's match is so important - a draw as a minimum, a win highly desirable. It's not all over if we lose but it would make the task of staying up even more difficult. Agree - ironically, it was Coyle who got the best out of Gallagher! -

Garrett is a colossus in comparison to Moran. We need lads who are up for a fight. -

Didn't see him pull out of challenges like I've seen Brittain do! Too airy fairy by far. -
Next Seasons Manager

Most likely manager next season will be an insolvency practitioner from one of the likes of Hudson Weir. -

Have little confidence about this game. We know Millwall will be fired up. I just don't know where the fight, aggression, passion will come from for Rovers never mind any quality. Some interesting stuff about Brittain. IMO, he's an overrated, cowardly, motor mouth and not a player suited to a relegation scrap. Nyambe v Brittain - know who I'd want fighting for the cause. More questions than answers and I don't think Eustace has a clue where to start. This guy has very limited football league managerial experience and the dead cat bounce we've suffered would suggest he aint the most inspirational of guys. Case in point, Moran's pathetic jog into the penalty area for Swansea's opening goal. A manager like Souey, Hughes, Big Sam would have hooked him instantly and given him the biggest bollocking imaginable - he should not wear the shirt again, I'd play anyone but him. Will Pears revert to type, McFad needs a rest, Dolan has little impact whilst Gallagher should have been flogged to Ipswich in January. We need a spark, SS can't keep delivering, he needs help. I'd play Gilsenan - can he really be any less effective or less of a threat than the likes of Gallagher, Dolan, Moran etc. We are now so bad that a draw would be a result for us. It will be a miracle if we don't go down. -

Any news or video links on 'f---gate'? Seems very quiet if it happened. -

That's a bit rich from you Chaddy about clogging the MB! You stated you wondered what Broughton would have done if allowed to spend some of the Wharton money - well I simply gave you my opinion based upon hard evidence and if that's too unpalatable then perhaps be careful what questions you pose. -

Based upon his last fee purchases (Leo and Semir), I feckin dread to think. Think Broughton is a busted flush and rightly saw - IMO, flopped in every window. Feel pretty sure he will have the best garden in his neighbourhood!!! -

Ipswich are 2nd in the table and Travis has started, including today, in 2 out of the last 3 games. Think that's now 5 or 6 games he started for them but not good enough for us!!! Travis is no world beater but my goodness, he's proving to be a huge miss. As @Tyrone Shoelacessaid about Wharton, it's utter madness what has happened with our midfield. The signing of an injury plagued Fleck just reeked of desperation and madness. -
I guess I got carried away after Tuesday!!! What happens when you are starved for so long and then get a whiff!!! Down to earth with a real bump now and tbh really fearing for our club. Eustace hasn't covered himself in glory since he set foot in the door and, IMO, is looking like a real hypocritical bullsh1tter.

Millwall enjoying a new manager bounce with 2 wins out of 2!!! Hope the stuff about Eustace at end of match is wrong otherwise I think our club really will be poisoned at all levels and his job will go from tough to mission impossible. We are in the mire and any optimism from Tuesday night has well and truly evaporated. Sadly, I think we are staring relegation in the face and we have neither the fight nor character within our squad to do much about it.
-
The lads really must be so tired. What can we expect after Tuesday's tumultuous effort. Off for a walk and a couple of pints.
-
Good point for Huddersfield after being down to 10 men for whole of 2nd half. Supremely confident of Rovers' win today. Backed them to win and also bet on 3-1 score. Good line up given everything else - good to see Gilsenan involved, think he's got the x factor!
-
Don't think the lad has had 90 minutes in the last 12 months after having suffered at least one leg break. This signing had to be high risk and should have been avoided.
-
If Rebecca is a grand daughter of Raquel then should be a good watch!
-
Would go with team as @joey_big_nose post. Wont be easy but the lads really should be buzzing after showing just what they are capable of against Newcastle. The thinking now amongst some sports' scientists is physical tiredness is all in the mind. So after 3 full days' rest, the lads should run out at Swansea eager, hungry and ready to give it a feckin good go. My optimism levels have been restored after Tuesday and I'm going for a 3-1 Rovers' win.

Know the area from previous work down there and built up some contacts. Think you will generally find there are many Saints' fans who dislike the bloke - both his persona and his abilities as a footballer manager. Like me, mystified how he got the job with a track record that hadn't delivered much. 'Arrogant, cliche ridden useless prick' is one of the more polite statements I've heard!

If Broughton is still a Rovers' employee by the end of March then I'll be hugely surprised. -

Think you'll find Wild no longer has an involvement with WEC Group and though I think Grabko still posts on this MB, it all seems to have died a death some time ago. -

I would love to know who Broughton's choice was to take over from JDT! If the rumours are correct, he had very little, if anything, to do with the arrivals of Eustace, McFadz and Fleck (though the signing of Fleck isn't looking a great one atm). -

I think McFadz is going to be a key figure for us for the rest of the season and maybe even next season. To me, he's a bit John 'McNameeesque'. Also, thought Wharton was superb last night with a performance we haven't seen from him for almost 2 years. -

One swallow doesn't make a summer but Eustace's overall management was excellent last night. Let us just hope this will be replicated every game. It was quite clear the 3 'coaches' calling the shots were Eustace, Gardiner and Downing. Lowe cut a forlorn and peripheral figure and, hopefully, his career at Rovers is now over.
