  1. I think our owners are a problem - how many business folk out there spunk away some £20million a year whilst at the same time, IMO, sit idly by and watch their 'investment' go to rack and ruin. However, the club's most important senior managers (Waggott and Mowbray) are, IMO, two imbeciles who have been taking the p1ss out of the club and its fans for some time now. I could just about stomach indifferent ownership if I knew the operational senior management of Rovers had the best interests of the club at heart; IMO, Waggott and Mowbray fail miserably on this.
  2. You might wish to add Waggott as a reason for not buying a season ticket. IMO, Waggott and Mowbray are imbeciles and come as a pair and hell would have to freeze over before I put a penny more into Rovers with EITHER of them at the club.
  3. Shocked and horrified. It now seems more likely Mowbray will be offered a new extended contract rather than be sacked! IMO, this is all too reminiscent of the Kean era. IMO, our club is engulfed by a cancer - I think there is no rhyme or reason behind executive decision making. After some 60 years of supporting Rovers through thick, thin and very thin, I am now finished with the club. Waggott and Mowbray disgust me and by the time they leave town, I dread to think what will be left of our club.
  4. Don't disagree but again, IMO, something amiss when one of Mowbray's 'boys' disappears out of sight!
  5. Unbelievable though there are no surprises under Mowbray. Where's Evans again - injured? Strangely think we'll win today!
  6. I think modified words from Sinatra's 'My way' could be appropriate: And now their end is here And so they face that final curtain I think it's pretty clear the fat lady is clearing her throat.
  7. Fantastic news. Well done to those on here ( @RevidgeBlueetc) who agitated to stop this, IMO, monstrous proposal. Think Rovers have wasted a huge amount of money on this already - egg still drying on faces!?
  8. I don't think Mowbray is an overly intelligent man. IMO, it's frightening.
  9. Leadership and clarity is needed from our owners and senior executive management. Publicly, they should back him or alternatively sack him. To say or do nothing are not options.
  10. I think Mowbray is taking the p1ss now and, IMO, knows his comments will be inflammatory with some - would he do this if he knew he had a future here? IMO, Mowbray has descended into Kean and Coyle territory. Humble, honest, a man of integrity? Not in my book.
  11. Why is it raining today when the weather forecast yesterday said it would be fine!? Seriously though, I posted an update yesterday and then decided to hide it after a few minutes - some on here might have seen it before I hid it. Decided to hide it because I didn't want to set the hares running again. All I will say is that my understanding now is it's got a bit more bigger and complicated. I still think there is a fair chance Mowbray will not be in charge on Saturday. Will be interested in where @oldjamfan1 thinks we now are. If I've been sold a dud and none of this happens, as posted previously, I will retire to my wines from this MB.
  12. Should be interesting as I suspect neither Sharpe nor Bayes expected Mowbray still to be in situ.. Think it will be a tad prickly given Bayes' pre match comments on Monday and Sharpe's subsequent articles.
  13. Haven't I posted it in writing!? Off for a long walk now - pity no pubs open to get a pint or two and a bite to round off the day.
  14. Oh ye of little faith. Okay, so it's not happened by 3.00 pm today but I still confidently think it will happen tomorrow if not today. If it doesn't, I will resign from this MB and retire to my wine collection as I'm sure it will be more pleasurable!
  15. I made two or three posts very soon after the game finished based on, like @oldjamfan1, what I'd heard post match. It was my understanding that he'd be gone by 3.00pm today and maybe Waggott as well if he'd been cornered and perhaps was unwilling to act. Within any organisation there are flourishing grapevines and football clubs are no different. I would be surprised if Mowbray's position had not been the source of speculation within the club for a little time now. Speculation within an organisation is inevitable and folk do 'leak'! Contract terminations are not always straightforward and can be fraught with difficulties so if this speculation is correct and indeed has legs, it may run on a little while yet.
  16. Strangely enough, these are my first postings for a little while owing to an absence of a few weeks due to personal circumstances. At least get your facts right. Try painting a door and watching it dry, you might find it interesting!
  17. You think what you like. What I've posted is in line with what @oldjamfan1 also understands to be the position. This is a MB for fans to express thoughts, opinions, share titbits etc and if folk stopped posting as such, it would be a boring old place.
  18. As I posted yesterday, I understand Waggott's been backed into a corner. Would be no surprise to me if he also heads through the exit door.
  19. Nail on head! Last 24 hours have been a bit out of character for both Bayes and Sharpe.
  20. As I said, 'Think he'll be gone by 3.00 pm tomorrow. Maybe Waggott too - some serious noise'. My understanding is Waggott is now backed into a corner. IMO, a racing certainty - if only I could get a feckin bet upon this happening.
  21. Pressure certainly mounting generally. Think LT and Radio Lancs have at last read the script - think the knives are going in.
  22. If I could find a market on Mowbray being next Championship manager to go! Think he'll be gone by 3.00 pm tomorrow. Maybe Waggott too - some serious noise.
  23. Mowbray, Pasha and Waggott might just be locked in a room as we speak..................!
