  1. Past hour
  2. Quite a few games are on Channel 5.
  3. https://rovers.co.uk/news/2025/june/16/take-a-closer-look-at-the-25-26-home-kit/ So pointless unveiling it now tonight 🤣
  4. They've already released the Video on the Rovers app lol
  5. I don't even know what this tournament is? 😂 Also, it's on DAZN sports, which means I can't watch it anyway.
  6. Nothing but a cash grab to push football deeper into the American market and eventually leave all the non-'elite' clubs further behind. A pre season spaff fest for people who think football was invented in 1992 and TV.
  7. Indeed. The whole point, as they've admitted to, is to relieve the financial burden off the owners. The fabled Brentford model is a total myth.
  8. Wonder how it leaked in the way it did, surely we have a ‘head of making sure kits don’t leak ahead of very important season ticket holder events’ on the books
  9. I don't think they will sack him either but I know he really flaps under pressure and hates publicity. He may decide he's had enough if he gest plenty of flak publicly.
  10. Yeah, THAT’S what’s unacceptable, not the bog standard kit or the way our club’s name is being dragged through elephant shit in international news outlets…
  11. Today
  12. I mean it's like Sunderland running out in horizontal red and white stripes. Other than that it's an ok kit...
  13. The Wharton money was in the 23/24 accounts so will count towards FFP up to and including the 25/26 accounts. The Szmodics money will be in the 24/25 accounts so will count towards FFP up to and including 26/27.
  14. 4 slots requires 35% of the minutes the club played to have been by English players. Where an ESC player is unavailable through injury his pro-rata minutes are used in the calculation instead.
  15. When does the FFP roll over? We must quickly be approaching the point where we couldn't spend the Wharton / Szmodics money even if we wanted to because our turnover is so low (the commercial and football side of the club is running well though, no need for the new CEO to get involved with that).
  16. I'm calm about the shirt. As I say, it's OK. In the grand scheme of contracts being run down, players sold to pay the bills, under-qualified buffoons running the club, season ticket prices going back up, the women's team being made redundant and the ground looking like shit, an above-average shirt is the least of our worries for our 150th year.
  17. Certainly well done to those who put in a great effort. Superb idea. But I'm not convinced they'll sack him, they are too stubborn and proud. Nor am I convinced that sacking him would mean the end of them---for the same reasons. But it would be some sort victory for us to celebrate if only short -term. I think it'll be the financial situation that will finally do for them and they'll clear off when we are in a lower division and crowds have dwindled further. More misery to come I believe.
  18. If the half’s had have been reversed I would have bought that shirt. Apart that grievous error I like it.
  19. De Neve doesn't need one, and Ohashi will be converted to GBE based on minutes played last season. Andy Watson missed out Mafoumbi who I think would still need a place, along with Toth and Kargbo. So if that's the case it would be one spot available. De Keersmaecker wouldn't need a spot, but Al Sahafi and Terho would need one.
  20. And the fact it's not a Rovers kit sits where on this list?
  21. I am pretty convinced, that if Pasha goes, it will be game over for the owners. As you have pointed out, he is the one feeding back to the owners and has tried to hide some of the unrest from them and made things out, to be a whole lot healthier than they are. More people are aware that he does not like publicity and it has been posted on here, that he actually fled the building, when a fans meeting, involving him, was due to get underway. He avoided getting involved in any of the fan meetings, until he was shamed into attending one and I think the tactic of focusing on him, is a good one. For anyone prepared to criticise, fine, as it won't suit everyone, as these things never do, but fairs fair, anyone criticising,, needs to put as much effort into their ideas too, as sitting back and criticising others, but but nothing yourself, is without doubt less effective in getting our club back.
  22. Like De Neve, this guy looks like he has some attributes to work with but will need to work hard on the technical side of things to be at Championship level. Nothing wrong with that but that would make 2 signings that are unlikely to be up to speed until mid-way (or beyond) the season. I know this is the clubs plan (buy potential, get them up to speed, sell them and not reinvest the money) but it would shape up to be another season of nothing, as we'll just be developing players for the other clubs.
