Normally I’d agree but he can’t hide what’s in plain sight. We came 7th last year so he was able to use the weight of that in the summer. If he was to be interviewed now I’m not sure even he could worm his way out of it. But that would take courage from the interviewer and unfortunately we don’t have many of those

I genuinely don’t think he’d ever be that self reflective. He exudes unfaltering arrogance and I’m sure in his mind he’ll be giving himself a hearty pat on the back for a job well done

There is no positive to any of this but I’m clinging to the fact that the whole world will now see how much a fraud Rudy gestede is. I’d even go as far and say the normal post window interview won’t happen. He will shy away from it as he fully knows he has messed up

Agree. What I think is most likely is it's boils down to a matter of face and not wanting to admit they have made stupid decisions both in acquiring us and they have been fooled by charlatans along the way. We are probably one of the many subsidiaries in their group and the losses are not affecting their overall group profitability too much thus they treat it as a "out of sight, out of mind" thingy and is apathetic towards the investment rather than some grand sinister plan.

Was never going to happen, it's not like we are a CAT 3 academy - any club who wants him might as well keep him in our academy until the summer and just get him for free.

To be fair, Nixon reckons we're putting in a bid for Danny Cardamarteri. Should be able to meet the valuation on him. I'm not against it, even though his goalscoring record is quite bad, and I would much prefer it if we went back for Yakubu.

Cadamarteris goal scoring record is very poor, I don’t see how he’s going to shoot us to safety when he has 2 in 29 this season. I really hope this is along with another striker but I think we all know that’s not the case .

If Cadamarteri is the signing then that sums us up in a nutshell - has no goal scoring experience at any level really and our need is for goals - shocking if true

Well if there is a plan it's fucked if the best we can do is sign Cadamateri, whos essentially slightly younger than Leonard but a less impressive track record....make it make sense.

There’s clearly no plan - the one they had at the end of December hasn’t worked and they’re going back for players previously of interest.

Cadamarteri leads the line in a poor Sheff W. team. At £1m he's worth a punt imo, and hopefully we can get his goal output ratio up. He's not too dissimilar to Ohashi in that he's a hard-working player that will run all day, but certainly not score all day, but mixed with Gudjohnsen he would probably do well. If he was that highly rated, he would've moved on a long time ago, considering the situation the Owls find themselves in. We still need players who can contribute with goals now, over to you Rudy.

Am I missing something with Cadamateri? Seems to always be linked with moves away but based on what? His stats have never been prolific at any level, granted he's only 20 still. His injury record looks poor. Or is it simply a case of Sheff Weds are skint, who's left to take that can kick a ball?

Aye, a lot of the article rang true, and I could guess who most of the people they didn't name are, but that part was clearly cobblers. Clubs don't call off games unless they want penalising by the league. Referees decide if it goes ahead. I'd imagine the police can too potentially, but certainly not club officials.

Not so sure about cadameteri. He’ll be good for the future there’s no doubt about that, but now we need someone proven which we won’t as is always the case. Seems like we are planning for relegation.
