  1. Past hour
  2. With those fixtures to end the season a minimum of another 7 wins are needed in the intervening 18 fixtures starting with Millwall this Saturday.
  3. 😂😂 broke a chuckle then lol
  4. We’ll see how it pans out, but the replies to the Coalition’s Twitter post says we are still a long way from, say, where Blackpool’s fanbase was with NAPM.
  5. I've been sent this from Twitter The call for a boycott is targeting the fixture versus Watford in January, so that people who have already bought tickets for the next fixtures are not out of pocket.
  6. Can't complain at all with that, and it will put to rest my umming and ahhing over whether I get a new shirt. I don't get to many home games anyway, but I'll aim for the Wednesday away game rather than the home games over the Christmas period. As others have said, whether there is a significant fanbase left to completely boycott remains to be seen, but there's no harm in trying. Already seeing a lot of backlash on certain areas of social media.
  7. Unfortunately no letter is going to change anything. It won’t even be seen by the owners. The club is rotting, there’s no way back the damage is too great now. This is going to be our last season in the Championship for many many years.
  8. I think for FA cup games you can listen to the Radio Lancs commentary on BBC Sport.
  9. If everyone could just bite the bullet and stay away for just one match initially and see what traction that gets it could be a massive moment in the history of the club. There'll never be an attendance of zero, but if we could have a game where there is max 1 or 2 thousand home fans in a 31k seater stadium it would get attention. It would surely be the emptiest ground actively used ground in Europe as a percentage of the capacity.
  10. There's been between 5 and 9k actually turning up but all of a sudden they are getting offended at the word 'boycott' ! Astounding hypocrisy from some on social media.
  11. I actually think boycotting home games while still attending away games is a stronger protest than boycotting all games.
  12. Love the letter. Agree with every single word. My only worry is it is just words that may not be seen or respected by enough supporters that it doesn't have any effect. I sincerely hope the fan base are brave enough to follow through. If it leads to a mass player exodus, administration and relegation..but forces the cancers out it is worth it. Need to spread the word. Get in the media!
  13. Can people who are more active on social media share what the sentiment is in response to this call from fan groups for a boycott? Obviously there will be some club plants and the usual Venky lovers who spring to their defence, but can people try and capture the general mood of the response and share here? I haven't used Facebook for over a year and got rid of twitter last year too. I'll boycott on Saturday. I'll probably go Sheff Weds away and Hull in the cup out of guilt, but that's paying their owners not ours. Or is this a call to boycott ALL BRFC fixtures?
  14. Great statement there. Obviously I will be boycotting as I have been for the last 15 years. Not A Penny More needs to be the rallying cry of this fanbase. Giving them money is subsidising their ownership.
  15. The letter encapsulates exactly my feelings and those of my family. I really hope its at least read in India as my suspicion is we are close to the end game here. Well done to all who have had involvement.
  16. Today
  17. Another game moved for nonsensical reasons!
  18. Any chance of that message (or shortened version) being placed in an Indian newspaper Glen? Plenty on here would contribute to cost I'd think.
  19. You're calling that one early, 5 points behind with a game in hand, and their squad full of "rubber dinghy men".
  20. I had one in Covid season as well, I wanted to help my club. It feels like the owners of our club and the administrators they employ have no such sentiment for our historic club and its supporter base.
  21. Rovers 1 - 1 Millwall. Gudjohnsen with the goal. Predicted team: Pears Miller McLoughlin Pratt Hedges Tronstad Baradji Morishita Cantwell Ohashi Gudjohnsen If Hedges still out then I guess swap in Gardner-Hickman for him.
  22. I will be boycotting and a season ticket holder! I boycotted the Derby game too!
  23. Everything that needs to be said fully explained and laid out in this well done. 👍🏻 The chips are down WE THE FANS ARE BLACKBURN ROVERS FOOTBALL CLUB. We've had enough.
  24. Not a death, but a century (and a couple of days) alive. Thanks for the joy you brought my grandma, my mum, me, and my children. Happy belated 100th Birthday Dick Van Dyke! Needs an honorary knighthood before he passes imo. I’d also love him to get one last chance at an Oscar, even if it’s a fix. Somebody cast him as Scrooge or something. Or (plot twist) cast him as himself in his own biopic.
  25. As is tradition we now enter a spell of surprising form. All culminating in a game we should win, that would drastically improve our position - which we go onto lose embarrassingly.
