Reckless? Please. He was late to the ball. Unfortunately the fellas foot was where it was. Yellow.

Battling performance I bet! -
And off-sides, though even that's gone crazy---5 minutes to decide it was a hairs' breadth in it!.

Is his reputation something that might its way into a team briefing Tony? Or are such things kept within the refereeing community? Until now, obviously! 😂 I thought Hedges betrayed his attacker’s mindset with the challenge, trying to win a ball where he started second favourite. As Tyrone explained very well earlier, a defender mindset is to stop anything bad happening first and foremost. Jockey the guy down there and the chances are it goes for a throw in or nowhere in particular. -

Well if he is replacing Hyam then your argument Hyam wasnt replace is surely wrong? -
Late and reckless. Always a red card. Never getting the ball in a month of Sundays

A very fair summary imo. Given how much running these players were doing from minute one, I wasn't surprised about the fatigue later into the game, as we dropped back. I think there is a concern that our opponents generally seem stronger with their fresh legs, while our own substitutions often appear to weaken us. Partly injuries and partly these transfer windows that weaken a manager's hand ( even if he does collude.) - Today

Fair enough, @Parsonblue. I recall you being quite anti-regime a few years back, but yes, I get it, last couple of years, I’ve become more Serenity Prayer myself due to life events. But unfortunately I find my approach is becoming less ‘just watching the lads’ but just instead slowly switching off from the whole thing. -
I meant in general with that remark; not specific.

If I was playing it’d be a grudge match, no doubt about that. -

Putting everybody into the scrum and nobody in the “ D “ was a bigger mistake. -

It’s not really a grudge match as the decision to abandon was correct and nothing to do with Ipswich. The decision to not award a result was also nothing to do with Ipswich. -

This is a very weird take when it was Caicedo doing the rolling around to deflect attention from his bad tackle. The Arsenal player was fortunate to avoid injury, it looked painful. -

3-0 loss to York today -
It wasn't! He was going for the ball and his opponent got to it first. No card at all for me. Bloody cissies play-acting and rolling around on the ground when there's nowt wrong with them. These are the ones who should do 5 minutes in a sin bin. And whilst I'm at it, when will a ref go over to the screen and come back and say," I was right in the first place" and stick to his original decision?

I see you missed answering the question. I can’t see a reason to berate the coach regarding subs when our bench is as weak as piss. -
5:35 in on here. Hedges goes into him and pushes him off it with his arm. He tries to hook the ball but it carries on rolling unaltered so he doesn’t touch it. If Yuki is clean through and a defender does that from behind your screaming for a penalty. Its a foul. It’s certainly not soft enough for Ismael to be whinging about it as the headline on the Rovers website calling it a disgrace.

I am not sure how Miller is replacing Sanderson, surely he and McLoughlin replace (downgrade) on Hyam and Batth. -

If you've bought my books you have both my thanks and my sympathy for having to read what I write. But my thanks are genuine. I haven't been ignoring your questions for any other reason other than it's not something I'm prepared to engage in. Health issues over the past two years have made me realise that life for too short to engage in endless debates about things over which I have no control. I love watching Rovers, and hope to do so for a good while longer, God willing, but that's as far as it goes. I'm happy to post about matches and players that I've watched but that's it. I hope you can understand and respect my point of view on this. -
Its was a late and reckless tackle

I've been a bit ambivalent in recent times, for reasons which I suspect a few others share. But the obvious injustice of the first match has made this a bit of a grudge match and one I really hope we win. It's a shame that it'll be in front of 10k-12k, as it's the exact kind of game that a decent crowd would give us an edge for,
