  1. Past hour
  2. We made a good profit on him and he hardly played for Palace and drifted out of the game.
  3. If the club went to those lengths, it also makes no sense to then claim they don't care what the fans think.
  4. Brilliant, proud of them all!
  5. Gestede said more than once that incoming fees will not be added to the budget that was set. We are fine with ffp...we spend penny's on incoming transfers and the playing squad wages have been cut way down from what they were previously. So going off your logic we should sell Hyam, Brittain, Tronstad and Travis this summer as they all have one year left. Do you think we would still be a championship club going into 26/27 if we do this?
  6. The famous £20m figure is not relevant for FFP as a chunk of the expenses we incur are ineligible for those purposes. One of those was the womens team I believe. Was.
  7. Superb stuff and several of these players with Rovers links too. I’m not going to state the obvious, our owners don’t deserve to share the same page with these European Champions.
  8. They specialise in making bad decisions.
  9. Venkys missed a trick cutting our girls from the league. There's going to be a lot more interested young women and girls wanting to see Rovers Women after that. Sadly not playing from home.
  10. While the outgoing fees may not be made available by the owners the sales do affect the clubs financials and FFP, no? So regardless of if the money is made available the sale allows for the ability to fund the club further. I took Gestedes comments to mean the player sales affect FFP but don’t directly lead to those funds being available. We know the funds won’t be reinvested but we’re run at a £20 million loss per annum and need those sales to even maintain “normal” operations. Point is the strategy of letting players run down their contracts and walk is crazy (also on par for our owners). No real club with ambition would operate this way.
  11. Come on Luke
  12. There's a difference between not actively following it and openly declaring you have no interest, no? I don't want to argue though, I really enjoyed this evening.
  13. I see UEFA are taking the piss with the number of ‘dignitaries’.
  14. very impressive,, pasha to offer another 10k🙂
  15. The WSL - women's equivalent of the Premier League - had an average attendance last season of just 6662 so there are obviously a lot of fools out there if you are correct.
  16. Special word for Jess Carter as well, after the last couple of days. She was also excellent today 👍
  17. No doubt our success in the English game has contributed to our interest in it. Either way we've just seen English champions, beating the tournament favourites.
  18. I don't know enough about the Fans Forum but according to one or two posts on here membership is by invitation whereas the expectation is that the supporters group will be democratically elected - so it doesn't meet the requirement. Others may know better.
  19. Definitely player of the tournament the keeper, what that says about England who knows, or cares.
  20. Game totally boycotted by the holidaying Spaniards here in Malta- only English were watching. Usually the Spaniards are the loudest when Real or Barca are in action.
  21. Said it earlier in the thread mate, they don't give up in a way that a lot of teams talk about but rarely achieve.
  22. Absolutely. Greenwood was fuming with that dive near the end by the number 2. She's smiling now.
