  1. Past hour
  2. We are in serious financial trouble...the only reason for this sale at this late time. Horrible what is unfolding in our 150th Season.
  3. Suhail wants the money, Val wants players of the right profile (young, inexperienced, and/or from lesser leagues) who do not question his arrogance, and Rudy is just plain stupid. A deadly trio.
  4. Wrexham have been sniffing around for a CB in that price range. We're the fools that accepted - everyone else told them to f' off.
  5. โ€ฆthat mediocrity can pay to greatness.
  6. What boils my piss is... At this stage that money will get swallowed up, never to be seen again.
  7. Even Waggott could see the writing on the wall - announcing to the public in 2023, before a ball had been kicked, that his target was survival (despite finishing 7th and an FA Cup quarter final the season before). Two years on and they've worked damn hard to get us here. That squad was far too good to deliver relegation and the annoying interventions of JDT and Eustace derailed the operation. Fortunately both were forced out of here so that staff more receptive to the plan could be brought in. What we are now seeing is the culmination of a 2-3 year plan, orchestrated by the owners and delivered by their underling(s). Time and time again we are swimming against the tide with these owners dragging the club backwards every way it can. Still some can't see it. They deserve Venkys and what is coming next.
  8. And for years they've said deadline day is where all the cheap deals happen. Valerian said the opposite this window
  9. Pasha cocked that one up so needed to make up the short fall
  10. Connected to Leonard still being in the building? (the rapid fire sale of Hyam i mean)
  11. That will be the spin 100% โ€˜ we have money in Janโ€™
  12. As a leader no thanks heโ€™s a very solid cb at this level if you think otherwise then I canโ€™t help you
  13. Surely there's just enough time to get a fucking deal agreed for someone decent FFS... There's no way you can dress up selling your main CB at the last minute purely for money as anything other than a cost cutting measure. Yeah, sell players who have a year left but not an hour before the fucking deadline. Set of twats.
  14. It's the fact he's leaving now. Even if you take the view of "it's a good fee" and we invested a big chunk of that money in a replacement we won't get them in untill January (which is always overpriced or limited ) And as we saw last time we went down, by then it could be too late.
  15. It may depend on whether any decision by the Adjudicating Authority is deemed to be a conviction (I donโ€™t think it will be). If it was, they may be caught by 2.1.8(b)(i) of the Ownersโ€™ and Directorsโ€™ Test (under disqualify event)
  16. Started 50 matches in a row - that's by far his best quality. Leaves a lot to be desired as a leader and CB.
  17. Never liked Hyam after his โ€˜calm downโ€™ gesture in injury time in a game we needed to win, rubber dinghy man - but that aside you canโ€™t make an argument for it being logical at this point in the window. Feels like a long season incoming.
  18. Said all along on here that league one was the end goal, by the start of the 27-28 season. Seems like we'll be getting there a year early.
  19. So much for "respecting Jack's legacy". The BBC have got it wrong. We'll finish 24th not 23rd.
  20. Another experienced player who wonโ€™t be replaced Wow thatโ€™s hard to understand
  21. The Hibs fans thought he was better as a CB in a back 3. Didn't think he was too great as a WB. From what I've (briefly) seen of him I tend to agree - he's an athletic CB.
  22. It's conscious, deliberate and planned. Venkys and their henchmen would rather rule over the wreckage of a League One or Two club costing them what they are prepared to spend than admit defeat, step aside and hand the club to someone prepared to fund and invest in a Championship club. Nice people? Selfish lowlife such that their own egos come before the status and survival of the club.
  23. As for Val Iv maintained this stance โ€˜he knew what he was coming intoโ€™ no sympathy for him Iv actually lost a bit of respect for him truth be told
