  1. Past hour
  2. Crawley dismissal at the close sealed another poor day for England. We’re stuck with him in the Bazball era but in normal times he’d be dropped by now. Odds must favour India now
  3. The problem with offloading Pears and Buckley is that you need a buyer, to be able to sell.
  4. Yes I’d be very surprised if it isn’t baradji
  5. Its the bloke with a fractured foot no?
  6. Bit weird when we spent a good few days in Spain as well. NEC were due to play yesterday against Werder Bremen but it got cancelled, not sure if we were a late replacement but we still had adequate time to sort a better schedule for the trip. One slight positive from today was VI showing some passion on the sidelines, friendly or not, good to see that in a manager.
  7. The fact we haven't heard a peep about who this mystery signing is does not fill me with confidence. I'm thinking Belgium second division, hope I'm wrong
  8. Considering wages are repeatedly being paid late it may soon not be worth the paper it's written on. Either that or a takeover there is imminent.
  9. How do we meet Squad registration rules? We around 21/22 already. Allow 25 How about not over reacting to one defeat yet where were you comments against the good performance against Everton and win, where were you?
  10. Travis and Tronstadt looked today like they had no intention of competing for anything close to a 50/50, which to be fair doesn’t bother me in the last pre-season game before we start proper. However for their third goal Travis just looks like he can’t be arsed sprinting, is so slow to get across and just lunges to bring him down and misses.
  11. Can we just remember its pre season and the proper football that actually matters started on Saturday at 3pm at the Hawthorns. As I expect some people going over the top with their remarks after today's performance against NEC. Looks like Pears is third choice currently behind Toth and Michalski. Buckley isn't close to the squad. Expect both to leave before the window. If Pears does leave then I think we need another keeper in Like I said in the Match thread I ain't going OTT over one poor pre season performance, Against Everton we were excellent. I have seen us lose 3 nil at Deepdale in pre season and were bloody awful that night yet won the first game of the season
  12. Embarrassing if true. NEC Nijmegen are paying an appearance fee to us for hosting the game yet we can't even use some of that money to pay for a one night stay at a hotel? Unprofessional to say the least.
  13. The question was about Toths performance, not our outfield players.
  14. Indeed. Everton were a pretty decent standard as well and we did alright there. Shit performance from the whole team today but let's hope it's just the rust being shaken off before the season starts. The situation at the club as a whole is much more of a concern to me than random friendlies.
  15. It’s rare they both have shockers at the same time, they pulled it off today though. Looked slow, like everyone else bar Kargbo
  16. Oh I don’t agree with the cloggers and need replacing comments more in response to you saying the aren’t the problem - in terms of the hierarchy your correct but just judging today both along with most others miles off it so when posters are saying the signings are crap based on today - well we have first teamers there also crap today too so as you said best not judged in a pre season game
  17. For that matter so should we. From the Ohashi interception in the first ten seconds to five must score but didn't openings in the second half...
  18. I was concerned by the sight of them in their training kit looking in the dumps disembarking the coach exactly an hour before kick off. Even Gueye looked pissed off. Schipol to the Nijmegen ground is going to be at least two hours on the coach and it didn't look anything like a Waggott special either.
  19. Toth didn't make mistakes, yet NEC could/should have scored six.
  20. You would have thought NEC would pay our hotel bill.
  21. It was a pre season friendly. Calling them cloggers who need replacing is massively OTT. Our problem is repeatedly letting good players leave and bringing in cheap punts as replacements. Which is exactly what will happen when Travis and/or Tronstad leave.
  22. And yet Barry Bannan signs a new contract this afternoon πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
