The commentator I listened to said that he had 13 touches before going off. In comparison Travis had had 60+ by that point. Henriksson was completely ineffectual. I'm not going to judge him one one game though. I was surprised that he played at all as he was such a recent signing. As to the game Rovers looked a bit disjointed, which is not surprising given the summer in's and out's. West Brom looked organised without anything special. Nat Phillips is a good signing. Set pieces and final balls were pathetic. Ohashi worked hard and should have had a penalty. Gueye was superb at the Hawthorns last season. He looked like he'd forgotten how to play on Saturday. -

Does seem to be out of favour with Venezia as well...Fits the type of player we should be looking at, can play as a number 10 also. -

Any relation to Tony Yeboah, one of my all time goalscoring heroes? -

Is that really any worse for him than him not being registered, not being selected and continuing not to be involved in any capacity whatsoever? Edit: If the Club really dont think he's worth even a tiny punt then surely the only sensible option is to pay his contract up. -

Ironically as this is, I am led to believe that he was one of the very few people who had access to the owners and was in regular contact, with them, by all accounts How the people running the show at Ewood, don't know he has left is beyond me. It is funnier than Billy Smarts circus. -

He should never have been signed in the first place. First professional contract with a foreign club at 19? Nothing suggested that he was an 'exceptional talent' just by looking at those facts. We got him because he was cheap but now the club has realised they made a mistake. -

I'm guessing John Yeboah wouldn't need a ESC spot due to International Caps. -

John Yeboah is being touted around again, think we had some interest in him last year...Still 3 years on his contract but looks and exciting prospect...Doubt there's much in it. -

That's never happening imo, I think he's full square 100% behind "the project" and grateful to be earning Β£600k p.a. From the nonchalant and matter of fact way he's been announcing the recent departures I think he knew from the outset that they would be leaving and that no serious attempt would be made to keep them. If it were otherwise he'd be fuming. "Yes well, we thought Callum was going to sign but he received an offer he wishes to take" *(So hey ho)* "Just to let you know folks there'll be another key departure this week" *(Nothing to see here)* NB - Words in asterisks mine. -

Iβm sorry mate but apart from the three un necessary fouls he committed that led to a bollocking off the ref I canβt remember a thing he did. -

Sums up the incompetence at the football club. Similar to what cost them a lot of money on Ash Phillips, as I understand it, a few more games and contract extension or higher exit clause. -

Mafoumbi isn't selectable for a matchday squad because heβs not registered. To move him from an ESC slot to a GBE the club have to first update their squad registration with the EFL before he meets matchday eligibility rules. We need the slot back so it's good for us to do this, but think of the lad. Comes in as an 'exceptional talent', doesn't get played, doesn't get registered then gets made a humiliating laughing stock appearance as an injury time sub to enable the paperwork for someone else to join. Pretty ruthless to do that to the kid. I'd cringe for him as he walked onto the pitch. Could have been planned better IMHO -

However, after coming on as a half-time substitute in a 2-0 win over Elversberg on Sunday, Miyoshi now doesn't meet the criteria for a GBE work permit. As he's appeared in the 2.Bundesliga, a band four league, his points are weighted in that division, meaning he doesn't qualify. From LT Article. -

Here is the link to the article: https://www.sportsboom.co.uk/football/transfer-news/exclusive-captain-lewis-travis-nearing-blackburn-exit-derby-leading-the-chase EXCLUSIVE my ass The following summer the club rejected a bid from Millwall for Travis before a short-term loan deal in 2024 saw him help Ipswich Town return to the Premier League for the first time in over two decades. Travis helped Town to the return to premier league..... -

The thing is, even seasoned Championship players looked lost in that game. Lots of huffs and puffs and low quality on the ball. Mostly when he got the ball he did something with. Nothing spectacular per ce, but played one two with Ribeiro and in line with the GAIS supporters he looked to think forwards instead of just going back (which would be the easy thing to do). He also did some defensive duties and one time held off, think it was HeggebΓΈ from getting the ball. He also came close from getting a shot in, arriving in the box for De Neves cross and I think he got a header on goal.
