  1. Past hour
  2. That’ll buy a lot of tins of β€œ Hammerite β€œ.
  3. Nathan Blake was another really poor signing.
  4. It’s why he’s a loan with a view. Think it will be a bonus if he comes good in the next few months.
  5. Out of the 3 strikers we've been linked with, I'd be most satisfied with Gudjohnsen...Hopefully we can get it over the line.
  6. This is the quote from Gestede: "We used to be over 2,000 minutes for Under-23 Academy players. Last 12 months, 142 minutes." So I guess any player under 23 (possibly including?) that came through the academy.
  7. He did indeed, forgot that he was a January signing. So Woy just takes credit for Davies, Dailly, Peacock and Perez. Ugly stuff.
  8. Ah okay, that makes more sense. But what is the cutoff? Is there an official age where the minutes dont count towards this self imposed target? If we think its just say sub 24 year olds only Leonard is going to subtract from that.
  9. Yep putting fake rumors out their to pull the β€œleast we tried” stuff, doubt the other striker from gent is true either
  10. I thought Kiddo signed Matt Jansen ?
  11. The Leonard story is odd. Elliott doesn't usually publish a story like that unless he's spoken to someone at the club first and they've confirmed it Baradji could well be this seasons Dennis, signing a player with a known injury just doesn't seem to all that clever but I hope I'm proved wrong and he makes a good impact.
  12. Maybe they didn't want to dent this confidence so early if he missed so let him wait? He put his pen away easily though. Although it was hard to miss against the Grimsby keeper. He also skied one over from 2 yards out. It came at him via a bounce or two but should have scored.
  13. It’s what happens when people live on every word that comes out of nixons mouth The Baradji one is so stupid - but also makes me understand why they are still after another mf
  14. Let us know the response. If you get any.
  15. The Baradji situation is peculiar. Doesnt even seem to know whether surgery is required. Also, the Dutch striker already rubbished, and the Leonard sale being agreed also rubbished. And no contact for Browne. Hard to keep up amidst the wrong information.
  16. I'm quite impressed by Alebiosu and Mclaughlin so far tbf. The opposite with De Neve and Henriksson hasn't started too well either. A lot will depend I think on how Baradji does. It will be fairly disastrous if we replace our Club Captain and leader on the pitch without someone who's basically unavailable for selection. And I still think we need (a lot) more firepower.
  17. Yep. Personally dont think there's anything in Soumano, Smit or Gudjohnson, few more random names will come out yet.
  18. We called it the morning rovers search for a striker Nixon fires out a couple of names and no doubt there will be a couple more names before Monday evening
  19. This bag policy is absolutely outrageous if there's genuinely no wiggle room in it. I bring 3 kids and a rucksack containing reusable water bottles and some snacks, no way that fits in a4 size, are the club honestly saying that's not allowed! I've emailed to ask because it feels entirely cynical based around forcing me to spend more and, no doubt, stopping the Pasha Out sign coming in
  20. They are being deliberate arseholes for the sake of it. An A4 sized bag?...'kin idiots.
  21. Maybe we're talking about different things, but this is what Gestede said: "We used to be over 2,000 minutes for Under-23 Academy players. Last 12 months, 142 minutes." They want to get minutes into the academy graduates to give them resale value.
  22. So VI currently won't even commit to a date for Baradji. I'm not sure we'll see him on the pitch for a good while.
  23. Go Ahead Eagles reporter says nothing in the rumour and the striker is needed for the season.
  24. Another Β£250k for Rovers if he plays.
  25. Today
  26. In regards to the academy perhaps the new remit is sell anyone with any value in them right now with add on's and sell on's attached instead of carrying them here and paying them. Then replace with more promoted youth and a few freebie signings costing even less in wages and try and develop them at that level quicker than normal. They seem to want to create a conveyor belt right throughout the club where every single player on the books is a saleable and potential value increasing asset rather than a depreciating one or stagnant non value item.
