  1. Past hour
  2. I wouldn’t expect either Atcheson or Pratt to play as a right wing back. They haven’t got the tools.
  3. Both our wing backs are out (and have been for a while, and we knew they wouldn't be available) but hey, this is the formation we play now I guess so we absolutely can't change it now, plan B's are for losers... As an exercise, here is a line up using the squad who have travelled today - Toth Ribeiro Atcheson Cashin Pickering Tronstad Henriksson Baradji Cantwell De Neve Ohashi Like, it's still arse, but when defending De Neve drops back and Pickering tucks in, which covers Pickering's lack of pace and De Neves lack of defensive awareness. Ohashi, Cantwell and Henriksson rotate a bit, and with Tronstad playing the holding role and helping to cover the (defensively weak) right side you encourage (one of at a time) Henriksson and Baradji to make runs into the box to provide a goal threat from deep. Crying out for a striker, but that's the story of the season. Got to be better than TGH at right wing back. I'm sure there are plenty of folk on here who can come up with something better than me!
  4. I don’t think Axel will be doing much up front. It looks like a 5-4-1 to me with any of Cantwell, Baradji, Hendrickson joining in with Ohashi as best they can.
  5. Val is a poor manager with a poor squad who gets lucky once in a blue moon. I'm not sure why he hasn't thrown the new lad on considering how much we've been misfiring and how desperate we are. Unless he's not match fit at all, he can't do any worse. I mean, he's willing to play De Neve as a fecking wing back.
  6. Hope Rovers get a win but I'm not passing up United vs City for this one.
  7. I think Henriksson is, but as a Midfielder. He's a fish out of water upfront.
  8. Y'all are a little too obsessed with the lad.
  9. denever and axel starting😰,has val not become aware both of them are not at this level, why pickering and ribeiro are benched when the terminally defensively inept deneve is starting is a mystery akin to the origins of life as for axel,id`e sooner start someone from the academy, they`de be just as effective
  10. What a young left footed centre half ? He’d get slaughtered.
  11. We’ll need Toth to be at his best today with that lineup. Also need Baradji to keep developing and avoid more injuries and suspensions for the rest of the lot. Right now I’d snap your hand off for another dreary 0-0, even a hardfought 1-0 loss will be acceptable, but I’m not getting my hopes up. Despite a slight buzz because we are actually signing players I still fell despondent about the club as a whole. But I’m still sat here, beer in hand, dog at my side because I just can’t stay away. In otherwise difficult times I always hope for a fix from Rovers that might brighten my day a little. So….matchday….COYB!!!
  12. Similar to 'significant investment ' last January !
  13. Just read a press release quoting Ismael as saying that he hopes the fans see that the owners are ambitious with this signing. Fabulous 'alignment' and confirms my initial thoughts on timings and supposed transfer value.
  14. His latest track, interesting video.. Bonnie "Prince" Billy - They Keep Trying To Find You
  15. Fear not. Chaddy over on the other site has predicted a 1-0 win. Cantwell to score. That will put us on 74 points for the season as we actually drew a couple. Poor guy. He must be missing RF 99 terribly!.
  16. If Ferencváros are in for him we don't have a chance. They will have a blank cheque to sign him imo.
  17. We will see , shades of Kean at White Hart Lane ?
  18. Georgie Fame & The Blue Flames - The Ballad Of Bonnie And Clyde
  19. Inexplicable to keep the same shape with the players available. De Neve shouldn't be in the squad nevermind starting and Gardner-Hickman shows limitations in his natural position nevermind wing back. Thats before we consider Axel playing up front again where he has struggled for weeks. Go and get Rowett to try and save us.
  20. I am not even going go waste my attention watching this. This is going to be up there with Scott Parker letting Bournemouth get smashed by Liverpool just to show he needs transfers in.
