Having thought about this some more, I’m afraid to say I think it’s the wrong strategy being pursued in the wrong way. Calling for a boycott sounds great to the fans already boycotting, but to the fans who aren’t, there’s nothing in the letter to make them consider doing so. 1) It’s directed to the wrong audience - it’s a letter to the owners, not the attending fans. 2) “The Coalition” calling for a boycott is a long way from Red Robbo calling out the lads at Longbridge. They are by no means widely accepted as the voice of the majority. 3) There is no argument, persuasion or rationale in the letter as to why a boycott will change anything. 4) It’s too long, repetitious and reads like it was written by a committee (no doubt it was). It’s not exactly the Gettysburg Address or the “Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité” of the French Revolution. When the ground isn’t empty against Watford, all that will have been achieved is a further loss in credibility.

Bring on all the insults, as long as we win.

Think there was also an u23 8-1 loss to Iraq thrown in. One of the obvious problems for Khan Wollstonecraft and the lad who played in the Youth cup is they are blatantly too small to play at the top end. I would doubt they are even 6 feet tall. Raya apart I can't find may keepers in the top two leagues who are 6ft or less.

But of course a football club is about more than the present team. It represents your town, it’s about its history and heritage that is wrapped up in your own family’s history and heritage. It’s about wanting your own children and grandchildren to follow in your footsteps as you pass the baton on. I’m a ‘diehard’ for all the above, but others seem to struggle to see that players, teams, and yes, even regimes come and go, we are the constant, we are the club and sometimes action to protect the above has to taken because we are diehards, not in spite of it.

Thanks for sharing. I know NBA tickets are expensive as I looked into pre covid and they were too high for me. Lakers NBA tickets are expensive anyway

I'm going to leave the thread now for while and let you guys get on with it. I've posted my views on the issues and why I will be Ewood Park every home game and won't boycott games. That's my choice whilst I fully others who will others choices. @StHelensRoverI ain't a club plant just for the record. I'm just a diehard passionate Rovers supporter and STH who want to support the players and team. Anyway like I said I will leave the thread for a while and let you guys get on with it.
