  1. Past hour
  2. Seems to be a bit of confusion on attendances and atmosphere here. So to throw my opinion in: The club has lost circa 13K fans due to Venky’s. This is a protest. Fans that used to go, won’t go, because of Venky’s. These fans, in the most part, were the most vocal fans in the stadium. Losing them has massively impacted the atmosphere. The above combined with ticket pricing and Ismael and Rudy’s Rovers being absolutely shite at home, means that so near to Christmas, in rubbish weather, any potential walk ins just say at home. We still get fantastic, vocal away ends because the fans that won’t go to home games go away.
  3. Agreed but overriding all of that was the lethargy of the players. Gudjohnsen can score but his pressing is awful. I love Ohashi's attitude but last night even be wasn't at it. We simply allowed QPR too much time on the ball in the middle and defensive thirds and they simply played through us. From a home form perspective I don't know where we go from here because Ismael just doesn't seem to have any idea how to stem the bleeding.
  4. Feel really flat this morning, I just don't enjoy going to Ewood anymore and wish I hadn't renewed my season ticket. Ismael has now manged 14 home games and lost 9 of them since he joined.
  5. Really need to decouple my mood and mental wellbeing from this bloody club. After the highs of Friday they go out and do that. Woke up still upset about it. Second half much better in spells, but still pretty dire really. Different game if Andre nets his chances.
  6. No structure to the team last night, played hoof ball for 20 minutes of it. Passing was dire, Wing play amd awareness was just awful.
  7. Season after season, Venkys & Pasha never fail to find a new level of stupidity.
  8. Shite season to have a season ticket, this one. I've seen one win this season- which was Southampton. Granted, I don't go to the midweek ones and I'm missing the SWFC one, as I'm out in Manchester.
  9. No. He said himself he had discussions with them; but that was months before he was appointed by us. Ismael never gets another gig at this level again after us because he isnt good enough.
  10. Few good away performances and results have masked his season so far. Going into December with 4 home points from a possible 24 is completely unacceptable. Get rid.
  11. Using Brandon Powell as back up to Hedges for the LWB role should be considered going forward. Send De Neve to Chorley.
  12. Today
  13. Terrible game yesterday, especially in the first half when our passing seemed to go straight upwards, and we won none of the subsequent duels. I dare to predict that these three matches will determine whether we stay in the division or not:

  15. I'm reading various excuses for that dross last night but it really is down to the players on the pitch. If supporters are using the excuse of Ewood being a ghost town then they are exonerating the players for what I believe is a fundamental aspect of football - effort from the players which was in short supply last night. And if the manager or players use the atmosphere as an excuse they are weaker characters than I thought.
  16. And Bolton and Potsmouth and Wrexham.....Bury still get same crowds they did in the football league, if not bigger too. Its not the end, its a fresh start. Clubs need to hit rock bottom to bounce back. We'll have nothing but apathy by the time we do due to the slow death we are having
  17. The only positive in the qpr game was Pratt hopefully he continues in defence
  18. Poor showing tonight. BigMac still can't win a free kick, two of em one has his shirt one has his arm and he gets called. What 8 first teamers out? To be expected somewhat.
  19. Preston away, QPR home; the highs and lows of football. It’s a funny old game, except it isn’t when you have to sit through putrid games like last night. QPR were everything we weren’t : well coached, skilful players, playing to a plan: it was obvious they were going to win from the 1st ten minutes. They should have been 2 up at half time. Chair was a delight to watch. Most glaring of all was the sheer lack of ability in that Rovers team. They looked like a bunch of squad players making up the numbers- which is most cases they are. Apart from the young left back, who should have a good career in the lower divisions but isn’t championship quality, not one player had a good game. Made a special effort to get to Ewood last night after a 300 mile round trip of the country. I won’t do that again in a hurry. Awful. And the worst of it, there were some boos but most fans shrugged their shoulders and left. Apathy reigns at a depressing and depressed Ewood

  21. This January will be just like the rest of them Loads of links to decent players spread out there by Nixon and a load of bullshit Twitter accounts with a few ITK crumbs thrown out there as well. It goes on for weeks without any real action then we'll finally sign some nobody who is gash. Possibility that we'll offload one of our best players at the last minute as well.
  22. Football was more exciting back then.
  23. Remember when Jaguar sales dropped by 97% and the blame was put on the consumers…oh wait it was their business decision that drove people away? Blaming your customers for poor perform never works
