  1. Past hour
  2. So if we signed 2 players from random foreign leagues on cheap fees and wages permanently and a loan, youd consider that as being backed? Either option would give a high probability of relegation.
  3. “He lives in shouting distance of Ewood Park and has aspirations to play for the club. He has had offers over the years to go elsewhere but wanted to stay.”
  4. I doubt many, if any, five to six year old boys are actual fans of a specific club.
  5. or being born and brought up in Blackburn, as a Blackburn fan, means you go the to local Rovers academy
  6. bame the var **** and the ref, they`ve basically ruined the game with the red card
  7. I would think one would lead to the other. IE being at the academy from such a young age, he would automatically be a Rovers fan.
  8. when you hear Spurs fans talk on radio phone ins, they say its no atmosphere there. It doesn't when you playing so poor
  9. I actually noticed whilst driving past the stadium yesterday that they've replaced the 'Welcome to Ewood Park' sign above the JW/Darwen End corner entrance. That's this year's maintenance budget blown.
  10. They sold players for 140 mililion and reinvested the same on players in. Wolverhampton Wanderers - Transfers 25/26 | Transfermarkt last season, spent 124 millionn and sold for 116 miillion, Wolverhampton Wanderers - Transfers 24/25 | Transfermarkt so money has been reinvest in signings. I would say not signing enough PL knowhow players has been the problem or backing the wrong head coaches there I hope they back Rob Edwards given his connections to the club and why he went there, but its a complete revamp there for Championship
  11. Just watching the Spurs v Liverpool game, it’s that quiet I just heard a mouse piss on cotton.
  12. The current leadership are well known for being sensible and considering the consequences of offloading experienced players without adequate replacements. No worries 🤪
  13. I'd like a fit Leonard on the bench to come on when Gudjohnsen or Ohashi tire (or start in their absence). Only problem is that, for whatever reason, whilst at Rovers i don't remember him being fit any length of time and never really got up to speed with "senior" football from what i saw on the few occasions he played. Tough one - don't think Posh would have gone along with a deal in our favour that would have allowed him to come back here if he did well.
  14. Would take that over Gestede and Owen lumbering us with more rubbish tbh.
  15. yep, also been with the academy since he was 5 or 6 https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/march/20/-playing-for-your-local-team--your-team--it-s-what-you-want-/
  16. Agreed but when does this club do logic?
  17. Did I hear right that Litherland is a boyhood Rovers fan? Always even better when an academy lad is a fan.
  18. probably a wise decision, millwall were in christmas gift mode otherwise it would have gone down a terrible 0-0,though on the plus side, they did`nt look like ever scoring, lovely to have 3 points in the bag
  19. Today we did well to get the result. Was a poor quality game but a comfortable win. But in general, yes. We are still near the bottom of the table. The squad is so stretched with very little quality.
  20. but it would of course save a few quid, he is without a doubt our highest earning left back, and we know all too well what are the priorities of the muppets in charge
  21. Tbf they're on track to become the worst premier league team in history. Fair that the fans might be a bit disgruntled imo.
  22. A couple of things I noticed just from being sat in the Riverside - two broken signs need removing or replacing and the far wall needs cleaning and re- painting. Would probably cost next to nothing in the general scheme of things but just shows the owners (if they know) or more probably their lackies couldn't care less. Jack's statue needs restoring back to its original condition as well.
  23. I'm glad I saved my £30 odd quid. But a great result, well done lads.
  24. Thought Henrikson did a good job when he came on, albeit a lot of it without the ball. Might be an option in the future rather than Gueye.
