  1. Past hour
  2. We are to be fair, drags on for weeks, managed to flog 1 out of the 4 they want rid of so far.
  3. Think you have a good point there Tyrone, takes a lot for Blackburn folk to get upset..very laid back and apathetic. 'Oh well never mind, there's nowt tha can do abaat it lad!'
  4. Whether he wants to count it or not doesn't matter. It goes on his managerial statistics - now played 15, won 4, drawn 3, lost 8.
  5. Yep, its not like our team is uncompetitive. But you strip away all of them pesky snakes that were also our key experienced heads who could manage games properly and results will go in the opposite direction. Also, Eustace was pragmatic enough to set us up in a way where we could grind out results. Still not entirely sure what Ismael is trying to do. We got the odd thrashing but even under Coyle or that second season under Tomasson with such a young and underfunded teams, it was often frustratingly tight games that kept going against us. At the moment we can put it down to misfortune but it wont be if it keeps happening.
  6. And Brum scored their goal because we had too many players in their box...just saying lol
  7. So its because we cant afford to sign someone without loaning out a young lad who isnt part of the first team? "Simple football matters" yet you arent implicitly saying its financial or otherwise.
  8. I get that. It never ceases to amaze me how many people still dismiss/ridicule/refuse to get the Rovers protest agenda. We do have to keep reminding ourselves that BRFCS is now pretty homogeneous.. After the Birmingham game, I was approached by people, actually looking for an argument.. that the club was "doing the best it can"..."Look at our attendances-Derby had 30,000 on today!"...."No-one else wants to buy us"..."Since, their original naive mistakes(!)..they have continued to keep the club afloat"....We have found our (80's) natural level..." However, I still think we can devise eye-catching protests, if we are strategic, think smart...least effort/maximum impact etc..
  9. Having 7 EFL games all on simultaneously but on Sky - totally justifiable (for reasons as of yet unspecified) Teams moving games because they are playing European football but on TNT - the real issue
  10. Like I said to Chaddy - it’s relying on the set piece delivery being right. If a pro footballer can’t take a corner we might as well all stay in our own half.
  11. OK, we haven't had success so far but we must keep trying. I think @TheDon88 and his experiences give us hope for the future but we need to put the effort in
  12. If that's the case, why don't you just skip over their posts and don't read them? That's what I do with yours most of the time.
  13. Why did Hyam play on Saturday thought he was missing? Why? You wrote your own club last season and you were proven wrong. Still haven't learnt have you. Like I said, some signings will work out and some won't. Just like every football and season.
  14. The difference was WBA got the delivery right, we didn’t.
  15. After all this time you still haven't realised that my comments were tongue in cheek and sarcastic. No wonder the club can pull the wool over your eyes so easily.
  16. We did on Saturday and it cost us a point But you would now. If you keep signing players without getting rid. Yet again, you can't keep signing players after players without selling/loaning players. It's fairly simple maths and simple football matters. Strikers need service to score. Pleased you aren't our head coach cos our striker would have created their own chances. Same old similar boring comments every day.
  17. We “flooded the box” on Saturday and conceded the winner
  18. I've read some mixed stuff online that people think we are going down, and some say they've seen enough to think we will be ok. I think our squads one of those where it might look like it can compete on a matchday but it lacks football brains (experience), and lacks goals, Saturday against brum was the perfect example of it. If you added 3 players of championship quality then yes it potentially might be able to sniff around playoffs. But leave it as is, then this team that looks like it can compete will lose a lot more than it will win. Saturday already feels like a massive game already, and I just don't think we will pick up 3 points (just my opinion). What worry's me is the stats under VI, we don't keep many clean sheets compared to JE, and we aren't looking like much in front of goal. We can huff and puff all we want on match days and look ok competing wise, but if you cant keep clean sheets and score goals, ultimately it only ends one way. In my opinion I think our current group of squad players looks worse than what went down to league 1 before. The fact we are only missing carter and forshaw is a worry, its not like we have loads of players missing. Also if tyjon is not going to sign I dont think he should be in the squad, it feels like its too early for him and he needs a loan out maybe, but we are only involving him because arsenal are sniffing, and we are going to give him minutes just to try and persuade him to stay knowing full well hes prob not ready, and worse yet he will probably still sign for arsenal anyway. In my opinion Leonards probably better off over him. Squad wise on paper it just looks pretty horrible, but if you can 3 players of quality at this level the group could swing the other way, i do think its fine margins. But with this current squad add some injuries and its prob not even a strong league 1 team. its a long old season with this current group. Like many im fearing the worst this season, its the same old circus behind the scenes. This is not me having a pop at anyone, but I swear I read somewhere that someone has a direct line to venkys in some way, surely they must be aware then that they need to spend something if they want to have any hope of sniffing around promotion let alone staying in the current division we are in. Even the contract situations, surely they should know about those to? Otherwise just try and flog the club for sale, cut your losses and go. Monday rant over. We go again.
  19. And all those extra viewers being able to watch their team via TV cos they game was moved for European competitions
  20. I said at the time he treated it like it didn't matter and his comment just confirms it.
  21. He knows only too well, that there is no way this should be happening, but for some reason, carries on being the contrarian on this site.
  22. No doubt that strikers would score less without better players out wide, but better strikers find themselves getting chances either way due to their movement and anticipation. The Rhodes example was a good one by @MarkBRFC how did he score 30 goals considering the crap around him? Similar with Szmodics. Sadly, we have a lack of quality both up front and in the wide areas. This nonsense about players "in the building" is just parroted claptrap. Why is the future of Leonard who will be on peanuts and isnt involved with the first team relevant? Are we really that hard up that a couple of grand a week or whatever is stopping us from signing anyone? Buckley isnt in first team squads, he is behind a kid who has started 2 senior games and done terribly in both, and was in the 9th tier last season. Again, what is he blocking? Is it financial? Car park spaces? Hooks to put kit on?
  23. Yeah, he can’t take a corner.
  24. There's a rainbow over his shoulder
