  1. Past hour
  2. Hmm I assume it's Henriksson playing wide, not Tyjon. Hopefully he can impact the game more tonight, I'd argue there's less of the pitch to have to focus on out wide, so might suit him more for now since he isn't used to everybody's movement and the tactics yet. Plus weaker opposition so I expect more tonight. As for Kargbo, maybe he can't do 90 minutes, but he needs to be given at least 60 to start getting to that point. Unless the plan is starting him on Saturday, then I hope he at least comes on at half time.
  3. Any possibility it's three at the back with De Neve and Montgomery playing wing backs?
  4. What was the old saying again... "If it wasn't for Venkys we'd have gone the same way as Derby?" Wonder how many that said that are now feeling a bit foolish or still banging the Venky drum?
  5. Really hope this isn't the case or he will never start a league game. Very common that wingers tire after say 60 minutes in due to constantly making high-intensity runs; think it's more important for Kargbo to improve decision-making and make those runs either when opposition fullback is isolated or during transition moments to create chances. Right now it looks like he just goes for it regardless of where he is on the pitch or how many he's up against.
  6. We've bought two right backs and are starting a (fairly) promising midfielder there. Stupid team selection makes a change from stupid transfer and contract policy, I guess.
  7. U21s team to player Brackley - score/update A start for the legend that is Mafoumbi
  8. Pleasantly surprised that Tyjon starts, disappointed no Kargbo from the off...but maybe the plan is to start him on Saturday.
  9. He'll end up going for about 1.8 million with a load of add ons that will be dressed up as 'a deal up to 2.5m' similar to what you say. How much of those extra add ons we'll actually see is another debate but my point here is Rovers are desperate to get rid because they've already spent on replacements. So there'll be no holding out for good money however it'll be dressed up as otherwise to fend of the critics.
  10. Interested to see Michalski - especially how he copes with corners.
  11. In the build up Montgomery will overlap, Miller will take up a right centre back role in a back 3, & Henriksson will move inside to support Tyjon & Gueye Or at least that will be the intent
  12. Your favourite Rover of all time would you say? 🤣
  13. Might give him more confidence for next game, and to be fair his speed and stamina were main reason we bought him so three games in a week ought to be fine. Interested to see Tavares, I know its lower league opposition but a good midfielder should boss this sort of game so it is still a useful insight. And reality is that he is probably the starter when we sell Trav. Interesting that Miller is at CB, and Henriksson as Right Attacking Mid; the latter could also do with a good game to settle.
  14. I genuinely think its a stamina thing, he looks unstoppable for 15 or 20 minutes then fades If that is the case, then starting him is not an option
  15. Derby will stump up the required money for Trav. That will get done over the next week I'd imagine.
  16. i thought kargbo would start,i really can`t understand why he`s not,bit experimental to have miller and wharton at centre back innit🙄,though miller imo looks a natural big defender, who likes to get to the ball first
  17. To be fair the way Derby are investing and Eustace's ability as a manager, I reckon a promotion clause in any sale would be worthwhile, as tragic as that is for us as Blackburn fans. In all honesty, while I would want 3m or similar to Brittain, we will likely sell at around 2-2.5m including add-ons because Pasha doesn't want to pay Trav a salary anymore.
  18. If it's any 'thing' it's an arrogance thing. We'll do what we want, we are rich and powerful and can afford to chuck millions away keeping a famous old English football club afloat, just because we can. We own those Brit mofo's and they will dance to our tune as long as we like' That sort of thing.
  19. Not sure if that’s meant to portray some kind of balance. Newcastle committed to pay Isak £6mill a year for the next 6 years when he signed, even if he turned out to be a flop. If rumours are correct he now wants £15mill a year then I wouldn’t negotiate either.
  20. Surprised De Neve is starting, probably getting up to speed
  21. Good point. Both razors could apply so it's very likely just because our internet content people are dogshit.
