On the basis of today, not only aren’t we missing any of the Old Guard shipped out, we are looking better in several areas: much better keeper, overall better back 4, more forward drive in midfield, Cantwell playing like Bercovic, more physical, more height. If only we had a prolific striker.

Was poor that from him, it would have to be a worldie to score from that angle with his left foot.

I did but I also saw the poor technique of a shot where he toe poked it the wrong way and the numerous times he has got free and instead of going direct he has looked scared and headed to the corner flag, needs to make better choices. Ryan hedges has scored one and a half today and I don’t rate him as a winger either!

I do like it when my striker's first instinct is to shoot, but Ohashi has missed two chances to square it to players in better positions.
