  1. Past hour
  2. I’ve never spoken to Mike, I’ve read his posts on here and I watched his address (and the full trust video) but I just couldn’t help but feel put off getting involved. I appreciate that the work they’ve done hasn’t come off like we and they want, and I know it’s not the trust or anyone from the FF or WATR etc - it’s all down to the club, I get that but need to stress it again!… I felt put off getting involved because of the sheer negativity, “the he said she said, we did this, they took credit etc” If I’m having that response - someone who cares deeply for the club, then it’s obvious to me that it would disengage many other fans too. Surely we need them all onside to change the ownership? The “demanding Rudy, Steve and Pasha don’t come to the games”, another thing I just thought a stupid response and easy to turn back on the fan group. I don’t know the answers, I don’t have solutions - but I thought a pertinent thing to add since that’s how I felt. Getting the majority of rovers fans to engage with these groups surely requires a different approach.
  3. This required a laughing emoji reaction because I agree 😂
  4. Henriksson will be Cantwell competition. Expecting Baradj to get done eventually. Just seems like they want him badly. From there a RW and a CB and we’ll be set. Wouldn’t surprise me if the CB was a prem loan.
  5. I used to think “ thank god he’s only on loan. “ quite a lot.
  6. Also are you sat at home going “thank god that guy cost 1.25m and not 750k”…?
  7. I’d tend to agree with that the only issue is the figures that are being quoted are coming from the other clubs journalists and reporters not just Nixon/elliot
  8. Honestly I’ve never read such a paranoid load of waffle, if you’d left it at the first sentence it would’ve made sense. They just employ people poor at their jobs ffs, and there isn’t a fan in Blackburn who would give a fuck about a player being 1m or 2m in cost. We give a fuck about how good they are. Nobody ever cared that Nzonzi was less then a million, or the fees we paid for the likes of Nelsen, Samba etc - they where revered because they played well.
  9. As was Brearley and the midfield player from Forest who’s name I forget.
  10. As was Ethan Brierley and Lewis O'Brien
  11. Duncan McGuire was in Lancashire .....
  12. I think if that happens that would hurt to see tbh. Him leaving will but to Derby put of every player we've let go trav would smart a bit ngl
  13. I don't class finishing 7th in the championship as a good outcome for Blackburn Rovers.
  14. He's in Lancashire so we've got him
  15. Haha yes agreed what a legend but how about more under this regime or dictatorship or however you see it hedges was rated highly and took ages to sort out and he has been significantly underwhelming
  16. instead it all goes to his partner. As I said, he is quite good
  17. Was hoping Axel Henriksson would have been announced by now. Reckon JDT has had a word with him?!!
  18. The owners don't do anything. They don't care, never have, never will. But they don't like it when they and their subordinates attract attention in the media. They think they are gods and expect to be thanked and revered as such. Their underlings want the status quo to continue as it keeps them in cushy and lucrative employment. The best way for them to ensure that their gravy train ride continues is to keep the owners under the impression that all is well and everyone is happy, and the best way of conning the fanbase into believing that is by making out as though the owners are backing the club, investing, wanting it to do better. No evidence for any of it, as they couldn't really care less about what happens at the club, but costs nothing for the stooges to drip exaggerated figures to people like Nixon and Jackson, and in return they get the deluded fans lapping it up, maybe even buying tickets off the back of it to help with their annual figures.
  19. Any defender would look better next to a leader. But even when he plays well, he seems immune to praise, instead it all goes to his partner. We finished 7th.
  20. It seems like he played in a midfield 3. Surely he would be competion for Cantwell. We are light there. Im not convinced he will play on the right, and hope thats not a plan instead of signing a player who naturally plays in that position. But we will see. Mind you, until we do sign a right sided player. I would prefer to try him there over Hedges, but just bring Kargbo in on the left.
  21. I think we may have a couple of dogs with a bit more fight in them now.
  22. I certainly think a deadline should be given, as surely it cannot take a couple of weeks to read and agree a set of minutes.
  23. To be clear, not one forum member to my knowledge has rejected the edited version, nor has the Chair or Secretary dismissed the request either. It was received in the sprit It was sent, and sent to the club. The only people holding things up are the club. The minutes are not ground breaking but demonstrate the questions asked and answers recieved , (should of been more questions) but would need more than one meeting for that.
  24. Should this not be put to the EFL for them to ask questions of the club. Maybe ask the Blackburn MP, to ask the EFL to look into it.
