The whole thing has been dragging on for so long it was inevitable that they were both leaving. The club now have a real problem on their hands as Dolan and Weimann were our 2nd top scorers (joint), even though they only manged 7 each. A problem highlighted further that none of our players got into double figures in the league.

The irony is that they were both brought in on a free.

They'd both be easily replaceable if we were willing to spend money. Alas.

No surprise to see both leaving and for me personally both easily replaceable. Makes the Foreshaw signing a little more meaningful though. We're going to miss Baaths experience so hopefully our CB lined up has that.

Probably is worth keeping him. It looks like the players we are bringing in could be below championship standard. At least Buckley has had the odd good game. Poor most of the time. I think he is the level we are now at sadly.

Not sure any of the ever changing models weve gone for in the last 15 years are workable either to be fair.

And this would be my massive issue with Eustace, it’s short term thinking and we cannot survive on this model. I’m actually excited by the pace and power that appears to be coming into the side!

Hope we get a 'gentle start' to give us a chance to get some points on board. A tough start with few if any points may well be difficult to recover from. With our player trading so far and no contract renewals on our key players, difficult to have any confidence.

The lad's 20 now and not improving. Don't think the spell at Stanley did anything for him. At one stage, thought he was a good prospect. Time to move him on.

The nicest thing I can say about Guindo after watching his YouTube highlight reel, is that he may make Kargbo look a much better player

Well we seem to be going all in on the left field signings. Would love to know how the transfer strategy is working behind the scenes. Already up to six with no British league experience before rovers (Tronstad, Ohashi, Gueye, Kargbo, De Neve, Sid - well, hes had a few games at Leicester but not much). Dont think we have had more than one or two non UK experienced players at Rovers since we left the Premier League. Quite like all of Tronstad, Ohashi, Gueye and Kargbo so hopeful the new guys can keep in the same vein or better.

Only rumour I have heard is we will play each team once at home and once away.
