  1. Past hour
  2. The simply looked a better team, set up better, looked stronger , looked confident. We looked every inch a League 1 side aside from Wharton and some flashes from Cantwell but he's really quite a petulant liability at times and at the moment does more wrong than right. Not going to dig out the kids, they are going to be made to play whether they are ready or not and that's a recipe for disaster for us and them. #Pathways
  3. Wharton and Miller looked good Tavares and Henrikson were absolutely dreadful. I'll make allowances for Henrikson, young lad, clearly very nervous.. However, I don't see how either is an upgrade on Buckley. We had absolutely no control of the game. Trondstadt was poor. De Neve- poor Kargbo is a box of fireworks- really poor decision making and final ball tonight.. Didn't really give Gueye much to work with- looked like he cared though. Felt really sorry for Michalski - I remember a certain Mr Raya having a dreadful debut for us in the a cup game.. Made a few good saves. Cantwell, Ohashi, Buckley all did Okay If Ismael has watched that and sanctions the exits of Travis, Bucko, Trondstadt he's mad! Piss poor!
  4. It could be a good thing showing we need to splash the cash now or we will have a long hard season.
  5. I would certainly swap them for Stuart at the same age !
  6. I can't believe how difficult it is to get a player who is a number 10 to play further forward. He always plays so deep and he did it under Eustace. I'd suspect it's a case of him not listening/following the instructions he is given, can't be a coincidence that he's doing the same under VI, yet back end of last season he did seem to be further forward.
  7. Carole King - It’s Too Late
  8. they won't risk a paycheck... or he'll be gone by then
  9. Didn’t buy a season ticket absolutely nothing about the window or last two games that would make me want to clubs rotten
  10. That's a negative not a positive. A positive would be being embroiled in a relegation battle but gaining some confidence and momentum because of a good run in the Cup.
  11. Yikes. That was awful. Huge, huge concerns with pretty just everything right now. Relegation is more likely than not at this moment.
  12. Wonder if they will swap Montgomery and De Neve for Metcalf
  13. This has been coming, the survival on the last day two seasons ago was the warning shot and they haven't learnt their lesson. It takes time for new signings to bed in and for the team to gel however, every team is in the same position. After focussing on their individual contributions so far, the replacements are not even on par with their predecessors (apart from Tavares). I think it wouldn't be unreasonable to suggest that in terms of quality, we probably rank quite low in the league and that doesn't bode well. We lack quality, we don't seem to have any identity. I don't think VI is a bad coach (he proved that at the back end of last season) but I he is even thinking now "what have I got myself into?". From an attacking point of view, too reliant on Cantwell for creativity (a player that conceivably could be available for 50% of the season), Kargbo looks like a competition winner, Gueye and Montgomery are way out of their depth. I hope I'm wrong....
  14. Owen coyle season we still had some championship players.......this is truly a shitshow.... pasha hoping VI can coach them into players

  16. I was scrolling through the BBC Football fixture pages this weekend and it was only then that I realised all our National League Cup games were confirmed, just that the Club hadn't bothered to tell us, and didn't until about 8 hours before the first one. It's a shame as I probably would have made an effort to do Brackley had I had a bit more notice; it's unlikely we'll come across them again in a hurry (wait until we play them with the senior side in League 1 in October 2028...!). Thankfully Moors and Tamworth are doable on the night for me and with a lot more notice.
  17. Another rancid performance. There was a couple of late penalty shouts though, so we can pretend we were unlucky like Saturday when in reality we've had our pants pulled down by a lower league team. Another embarrassing cup exit under the clowns. We look completely clueless again in front of goal. Our goal only coming after Miller threw the ball 3 yards Infront of the net for De Neve to smack in at point blank range. If we concede early again on Saturday we're in trouble.
  18. It is hard to not feel pretty deflated after that it was obviously a second string ish team. If they think one more attacking signing is enough then I will nail down my opinion to a bottom 6 scrap I think what worried me most tonight was all the talk of tyjon and Montgomery both were v poor tonight l. Tavares did ok right winger centre mid and striker required and all for starting 11 not just to be signed to appease fans
  19. Any signings now will be too late for Saturday so we go with what we have which includes at least Travis with a turned head.
  20. Cantwell hardly got forward and gave them a big chance. Can’t remember him turning a game around for us ever.
  21. I hope he enjoys the direction they're pulling him in.
  22. Bradford rotated six players as well so no excuses. We are shit going forward and don’t have the right players to dominate teams. The subs were pre-planned and proof is that Montgomery stayed on for that long when he played to a 1 out of 10 rating. How many times did we gift them glorious oppurtunities? Still, we should’ve had at least two goals. I liked the looks of Miller, Tavares and (at times) Henriksson.
  23. Only positive tonight was Taveres. Looked composed, always scouting, good range of passing and passed the ball forwards tonight more than every other midfielder did last season. Shame the rest on the field were terrible
  24. I understand wanting to find a silver lining but I couldn't care less.
  25. Montgomery was by far the worst player on the pitch including Bradfords team, Cantwell looked a class above when he came on, need some decent forwards and to keep players like Trav who can get stuck in, positives Tavares and Miller looked like good additions
