  1. Past hour
  2. Sunderland the better team at Anfield. Liverpool got lucky again.. Good job Cheisa chased all the way back otherwise its a defeat
  3. I'd agree almost wholeheartedly with that. Personally Id add Miller to the list of players who are "Not Championship standard" and upgrade Alebiosu slightly to "very good". A pretty dismal return out of ten players. What's Owen's "data" written in - braille?
  4. And then have key players out for the Sheff Wed game ? I assume he takes players off because he knows he has to keep them relatively fresh.
  5. They got away with it to some extent with another lateish goal. 1-1. Isidor was clean through from the half way line in injury time but failed to convert the winner for Sunderland.
  6. First 30 mins yesterday were the first times I saw him actually affect a game further than 5 yards out, but as the game went on he vanished again before popping up for the goal. I said it yesterday but our issue is we've got all the attributes of a top striker spread across two players - Yuki's work rate and boundless energy and Andri's ability to lose his man and finish (generally, he's missed some sitters too). If they could teach each other they would be deadly.
  7. Ismael's just following the Venky Rovers playbook - blame anyone and anything other than ourselves. Already we've had referees, the weather, the drainage, previously we've had injuries, bad luck, the EFL, fans, parachute payments, FFP rules, covid, Eustace, nasty players, their agents, Tomasson, Broughton, administrative errors, plain hard luck. It is quite the list and it grows every season as a failing regime searches far and wide for reasons, other than their own decision making and ineptitude, why this club is a failing husk of an organisation. Obviously they can't blame the real source of pretty much all our ills - the vile group of people in India overseeing it all year in year out - nor will the lower down employees do anything that might lay blame at the door of the henchmen in the shadows doing whatever it is they are doing. Nor indeed the incompetents beneath them, promoted way beyond their capabilities or stations simply by virtue of being willing, compliant and cheap. So into the void they blame all the other things that we cannot control and which clueless supporters just love to point their fingers at and believe little old Rovers are doing their best in the big nasty world that is set up against us. I'm the first in the queue to blame refereeing competence, of which there is a catalogue, but I am not for one second having it that our pathetic home results, rapid decline down the table (play off to relegation contenders in mere months) are the fault of anyone bar those running this shambles.
  8. Ah yes. Thanks. At normal speed I initially thought the defender had got something on the ball but on watching the replay, it was a pen and a mistake by the ref. That cost us a point then.
  9. I was pissed off. Im sick of seeing our sub par team throw away points. You blamed it all on the referee and brushed over the tendency that this team and this thin group of players and poor manager have of conceding late. I didnt say that Baradji is a horrendous player. But hes not been a very useful sub, hopefully because (in December, predictably) hes still not fit. Yes, De Neve in particular was awful again, he shouldnt keep bringing him on, and Baradji and Tavares were downgrades too. Obviously Gueye who again he keeps bringing on is like De Neve playing a number of levels above his natural level.
  10. Young Adam doing the business at the Dingle Dome
  11. Today
  12. Agree with most of your post but there was a really clear foul in this one (I think on Cantwell but I can't remember for sure) who was taken out after pulling it back past the defender at the edge of the box. Guy next to me at work supports Swansea and said it was one of the worst decisions he'd seen in a while.
  13. Tosin may have left Rovers a while ago but there's still a bit of us in him.
  14. Liverpool currently losing 1-0 at home to Sunderland. Slot starting to push his luck a bit.
  15. Plenty of empty seats at the Dingle Dome tonight..lets hope Newcastle make it 6 losses on the bounce come Saturday. All crying they want Parker out now. Down ya come inbreads!🤣
  16. Looking at Vince's complaints in detail..... "No pen at WBA" - From memory the incident was extremely early in the game so a real stretch to say that was a pivotal turning point "Gudjohnsen at Watford" - We won, not sure what his point is "Charlton Handball/no pen" - We lost 3-0, not sure what his point is "Swansea no pen" - Don't recall anything particularly contentious "Preston No red card, no penalty on Gueye" - We won, so not sure what his point is on Gueye. Agree on the no red card, was a potential career ender. "Wrexham No foul on Hedges" - Virtually irrelevant either way, we should defend the resultant free kick Ipswich "Red Card/Penalty on Ohashi Most people agree Ohashi wasn't a pen. Imo possible red card but by no means clear cut. Either way the failure to win down yet again to our inability to defend. Nothing whatsoever to do with the officials. Overall a load of self serving twaddle from our so called "leader" trying to divert attention away from his own abysmal performance to date.
  17. Burnley undone by one quality cross at home to Palace tonight. Unlike last time under Kompany, there looks a definite lack of quality throughout their team for coping with the Premier League. 5 defeats on the bounce. With Forest winning and Leeds currently winning, there’s now a 4 point gap to safety. Looking good. I mean, er, grim. 🙂
  18. It’s that man again… MOTM template.mp4
  19. Just guesswork on my part but the audit director has changed this year so could just be something from them. My experience of audit directors is they like to put their stamp on things in their first year.
  20. Alebiosu the pick of the bunch. I'm classing Gudjohnsen as good purely because without him, we'd probably be sitting 23rd. McLoughlin is ok at best, he seemed steadier in the few games alongside Wharton and Carter but is prone to a mistake, positive he can stay fit. Miller brave, but sloppy, has a tendency to put his teammates in danger. I will say he puts in a shift for the travelling he does for international duty and is always available. TGH I can think of a couple of nice diagonal balls he's played, but on the whole nothing special, I'd class as a downgrade on Trav. Tavares well, the less said the better. If it ever was as expensive as mooted then a terrible mistake based off performances so far. Morisihita @davulsukur summed it up. Baradji I'll probably judge at the end of January by which point I'm hoping he's played plenty of games. So far, I've seen him jog around. Henriksson anytime he's been in the starting lineup, I've backed him to be the first sent off. De Neve, Ah, Dion. Not his fault, as he says, of course he's going to take the opportunity to quadruple his wage. But he makes mistakes seen at Sunday league level. Consistently ball watching and has single handedly cost us goals.
  21. If he wasn't why did the defender foul him? He didn't accidentally make contact did he?
  22. I would assume just League games
  23. Salary and wages + £1,303,040 Social Security costs + £203,048 Pension costs + £187,951 Total increase £1,694,039 The cost of the adjustments you referred to will appear in next years accounts.
  24. Chat gpt said 50/50 but leaning on yellow , is that not more intelligent?
