  1. Past hour
  2. My early assessment of the incoming players mccloughlin- steady, composed, very good pick up. Really liked batth but appears this was a good swap. alebiouso- like his athleticism and physicality. Another good bit of business. I miss brittain but at least we replaced the position well. Baradji- looks a YouTube talent, can’t comment till I see a few games for us. henrikkson- im worried about this one, he looks clumsy with an awkward running style and just not an athlete never mind a footballer. Not sure this one is going to work out. taveris- looks neat and tidy but tends to give silly fouls and questions on his fitness , burst at 60 mins. Think he will be ok but needs to get better fitness and a footballing brain. Birmingham loss was a lot on him for both of those reasons iv mentioned.
  3. When we say midfielder is that central? Or another winger?
  4. Don't mind signing them young, but before the christening.?????
  5. Let's try to avoid that term, yeah?
  6. I dont think anyone else is close to signing. Nixon reckons we have a bid in for a midfielder but he doesn't have a name yet.
  7. Steady, healthy load of Scottish supporters including myself for rovers. we are limited in attack but we have an emerging talent at hibs , Kieron Bowie, might make the step up required
  8. Or we could have had similar to Derby’s results and performances instead? Who knows πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Edit - although to be fair they have played Stoke and Coventry who seem to have started extremely well, including Coventry scoring 7 at the weekend
  9. The Big win last Saturday settles the team. To be honest I am good with everyone in that starting XI except a bit concerned that our midfield is a little passive with Tavares in there. Hope he grows on me but seems to let the game go by him too much for my liking. Feels like he could be a good when we are on top, goes missing/becomes a liability when we are on the back foot type. Will watch him with interest.
  10. Trav and Buckley - both close to signing elsewhere. πŸ˜‚
  11. aside from the jap lad,who are the other two players we are reportedly close to signing
  12. he thinks he`s an innovative tactical genius and everyone else is beneath him,he earned his dislike from rovers fans when he was managing swansea and his team training talk was about how "they won`t be able to handle us"(rovers) he also claimed after our easy win that the rovers bench was laughing at him,if you think we dislike him then go on google and see what the rangers fans think of himπŸ™‚
  13. Don’t know. Depends if you think we would have lost 3 out of 4 games, including getting dumped out of the cup off a league one side, with them. Maybe Baath would have defended that West Brom throw. Maybe Weimann would have scored against Bradford. Not sure anyone can look at our results and say we haven’t missed them.
  14. Super Shito super shito ohhh ohh
  15. That’s goalscorers for you - that’s all they think about. Fair play to the lad I think he’s a really good finisher, he can put the ball in the net with anything.
  16. Technically limited but looks like he'll get stuck in and hopefully have that knack of popping up in the box. The new Super Atko!
  17. Ryoyo Morishita's Rovers number 9! La la lalalala la lala! 🀣
  18. Piece Hall is a great venue Mark, you’ll not be disappointed. Faithless played on Friday and went down a treat by all accounts. I know someone who works close by and listens to all the sound checks - Rag n Bone Man being the best so far by all accounts πŸ˜‚ If you’re after food before the gig - Ricci’s place in town centre was excellent, but you’d need to book.
  19. Today
  20. Yeah i think so. Thats why I thought a bit further back might suit him, with those late runs into the box. We'll see how he gets used going forward, I think he will only be a bit part player this season with them integrating him slowly to he starter next season as I imagine Tronstad and Cantwell will be off next summer.
  21. Yeah, I don't particularly expect Hyam and Tronstad to see out the season with Rovers, but unless we're about to have a truly chaotic week before the summer deadline I can't see either of them going until January.
  22. What they don't get rid of now they'll sell in the Jan window i think that's nailed on.
  23. Looks like a natural goal scorer to me - has got in some great positions already. Not sure he's incredibly skilful and deft in those tight areas, but he'll be in the right place in and around the box to get shots off.
  24. Well there was talk on Twitter the other day that Tronstad couldn't agree terms with a Scandinavian club - so I don't doubt his services have been bandied around. I think he's a fantastic Championship CM so we'd be silly to sell him, but this new regime seems determined to sell anyone with one year left on their contract...
  25. I think he will be used as an attacking midfielder, and admittedly I have only seen the minutes he has played for us so far. For me though I can't help but think he would be better as a "8" as the kids say today, doesn't look to have the nous or guile to play as a "10".
  26. I wonder as well if Tronstad is next on their list to offload, way they talk Baradji is planned to be a starter, presumably alongside Tavares, and if they still want another CM as back-up with Montgomery and Forshaw I think Suhail will be planning to get rid of Tronstad's wages. Would be a bad decision in my opinion, but hard to see us keeping 6 CMs, not even including Henriksson and Cantwell who could do a job there.
