  2. If Travares is travis's replacement, we could have shirts for the dyslexic.
  3. I wouldn't want to bring JRC or Buckley on tbh. I agree with the 'poor athletes' comments.. JRC runs like he's trudging through treacle and Buckley shuffles around the pitch like an old man. What I was getting at it is I'd prefer either of those over Foreshaw. I thought he was really poor other than the odd game last season and certainly did nothing (in my eyes) to warrant an extra year- especially in light of his years.. I'd be all for getting rid of JRC, Buckley, Foreshaw, Hedges, Pears, Hyam. Have a good clear out and reinvest, however my concern is we're the latter part. Also, if we're not careful the squads going to lack any chemistry.
  4. With Forshaw returning and the supposed imminent signing of Tavares, it all points towards a couple of midfield departures. Hopefully its Buckley and Garrett / JRC....but I have a bad feeling one of them is Travis. Signing Tavares for potentially over a million quid has similar vibes to the situation with Gallagher getting sold to Stoke and then Gueye coming in as replacement for a similar fee. I'll be gobsmacked if this doesn't mean one of Trav or Tronstad isn't on the way out. Sad.
  5. As I said, its clearly not possible to do that. There is a middle ground between on par with them and someone who isnt (in my opinion) capable of starting without causing a huge drop in quality. Baker proved that. If your backup is so inferior to your starting 11, then you will really suffer as the season goes on. As we have seen.
  6. A career in politics awaits you pal.
  7. So do you want us to store 4 players of the same quality as Travis and Tronstad?
  8. Buckley is awful. It's no coincidence our season fell apart when both Travis and tronstadt were out injured. Lewis baker was class and was real competition for them both. Forshaw resigning reminds me of us resigning uncle fadz last summer. An experienced head to have around and hopefully will do more off the pitch than on it.
  9. Ah the answer a different question to the one you were asked approach - nice.
  10. My dad was Massive Rovers Supporter and I following him in being a Rovers Supporter around 91 and that campaign was our promotion to the newly formed Premier League and still proud to be one now. Those early years were the best ever following by Souness and Hughes time here
  11. Ha ha just like England thrashing Andorra, oh wait πŸ˜‚
  12. Today
  13. Were Rovers a small club when you started following or where they bigger than those two ? Were Reading and Bolton small clubs when you started following Rovers ?
  14. Coventry and Ipswich were a PL clubs when I started following Rovers in 1992, They aren't small clubs. They have been poorly run in the past but not small clubs.
  15. Yes he said similar last summer about Travis would be likely sold and same with Dolan. https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/36874-the-summer-transfer-window-press-submit/page/169/#findComment-2603013 Lets see what the fee is or see what type of player he is actually cos I take no-one has seen him? Adam Owen has alot of contacts out there plus lets factoring in the scouting knowledge of our 2 senior scouts of Piotr Sadowski and Michael Cairney Is Buckley or JRC players you would bring on to see a lead out or game changers? Did you not think we need to move them on for the sake of their own career and playing regular football
  16. I didn't realize Treasure Island made the quarter finals of the last AFCON and are looking likely to qualify for the next World Cup.
  17. every signing we make under this lot is a gamble,we don`t know if they are going to be any good because i doubt the scouting staff do either,we appear to be blind betting imo
  18. Hes not actually been capped I dont think. On Buckley, I always felt like it was a bit of interesting man management by Eustace to make him vice captain. When he was captain it was often for the second string in cup games. Maybe he was trying to get more out of him.
  19. Now Mr Thumbs down if i said that about Coventry and Ipswich a few years ago you'd have had the same reaction.
  20. Forshaw was actually pretty decent in the last third of the season. Getting on a bit though, and I wonder if we lost the legs of Tronstad or Travis Forshaws age and lack of pace would be brutally exposed?
  21. Just my opinion based on the loan spells he's had last season. Neither of those loans could really be viewed as a success, if we are being honest. For what it's worth (which isn't much), I wouldn't have an issue with him sticking around and seeing if he's up to it this season. I think he's contracted until 2027, so still in the clubs hands. I think the club will look to loan him again though
  22. That’s like playing for Treasure Island.
  23. The Human Beinz - Nobody But Me A garage band classic,
  24. he could`nt get a game for two sides that were near the bottom of the lower divisions, thats a kind of a big indication he is`nt good enough for the championship,a shame because when he first broke into our first team he was raw but looked a decent prospect, funny game football, sometimes a player will kick on other times they regress badly
  25. Unfortunately, I don't think they are.
