  1. Past hour
  2. Disagree. That is true in terms of the Vs and nobody here (apart from some) but gives RG and hence Pasha far to easy a ride. Just carrying out orders. They cause far more damage than that. They are also a big part of the problem for all the reasons many have outlined on here before.
  3. I think you are deluding yourself here, did you actually watch the video properly and listen to what was said? The plan wasn't the get rid of the core of a team that had just finished 7th. They claim they offered all those players contracts so if we believe that to be true they couldn't have decided that squad had hit a ceiling and they wanted to try something different. The players left because they didn't offer them good enough contracts, including some that were offered exactly the same terms they were on, as I think Rudy said. There were no deeper issues exposed. What you wrote is sadly nonsense. I do hope the likes of Mori and Gudjohnsen and even perhaps Baradji come good but what has happened has happened primarily because it saves money, there is no doubt about that.
  4. Interesting you say that. It seemed to me that during the last home game there wasn't much of one -just tended to drop to half way. Also, it seemed a little half-hearted but definitely improved in the second half as did energy levels.
  5. I want them to sell the club, no point in them owning it
  6. Venky's don't employ him.... its his project with Vs on name
  7. I just really hate wrong footed full backs. Can be great defensively, but the only one who ive seen who looked offensively good was Spinazzola for Italy, but he was incredibly unique.
  8. Wont somebody think of the stakeholders.
  9. Is it possible to report the YouTube video for being spam / misleading?
  10. Because he comes across as reactionary so of challenged on certain topics maybe he will say something he shouldnโ€™t either way itโ€™s another gagging order from him on staff below him itโ€™s farcical really or they have fell out with LT over 2/3 articles about how poor the window has been Andy bayes wil be posting an interview at 8pm on bbc lancs
  11. Gestede comes across as a highly unlikeable person indeed but make no mistake about it suhail pasha is the main problem always has been and will always continue to be so long as venkys continue to employ him
  12. Why would Pasha stop Gestede speaking to the local paper?
  13. Today
  14. Theyโ€™ve had 15 years and havenโ€™t learnt anything any way
  15. We are very transparent and honest.
  16. Nasty nasty man, quicker him and the owners and others leave the better.
  17. That has nothing to do with the discussion, which has now been closed.
  18. Further confirms that Pasha is the only decision maker here, he makes all the decisions and sends out his puppets to take the heat (until they get fed up and leave or are removed from role for refusing)
  19. If the manager believes 3 CBs is the best formation for us, why would he allow us to end up with only 4 CBs in the squad, two of whom are highly injury prone?
  20. It is one hell of a good argument, if the worst happens and we get relegated. All the other teams got stronger, as well as us but they got even stronger than us. It was a much stronger league overall and as we over achieved last season, it wasn't our fault that we under achieved this season and went down. Next.
  21. The wage budget has been cut. This isnโ€™t any kind of alternative master plan. Itโ€™s simply the only thing thatโ€™s left open to Gestede and company. They have to let the higher earners go and just hope that somehow they can get around it. In other words theyโ€™re all lieing to us all. Time for a few truths from the owners. If they were to say that they couldnโ€™t continue funding the club at the previous levels then we would all have to accept it. We might not be happy with it but we would accept it. but then rightly, they would be urged to put the club up for sale. With a wage budget seemingly at the bottom end of this league the chances of success are virtually nil. It happens sometimes but it hasnโ€™t happened here for 15 years. The teams with the highest wage bill tend to be the teams at the top of the league. Weโ€™re on a downward trajectory with no signs of it changing.
  22. Konsa has to keep his place. Livramento looks the best left-back option. He's very good defensively and got a good engine. On the left I'd like Grealish but the pace of Gordon is a good foil for kane. I think the shirt is anderson's to lose now though I think Wharton could easily do a good job. The great thing is we have bags of options
  23. I agree with your certain to start list, it's how to fill the rest that will cause no end of debate. In central defence Konsa is probably the favourite. He's always played well for England. Burn should be binned. Colwill won't be fit in time. Stones has been creaky but is a class act if fit. Chalobah? Another who Tuchel knows from his Chelsea days. Who else? Left back has options without any of them being at Ashley Cole's level. I'd prefer someone who is left footed so Hall, Lewis-Skelly, Tyrick Mitchell, and at a stretch Luke Shaw. Although he may not be a regular for a dodgy Man U team that plays a back 3. Everyone on this board wants Adam Wharton in central midfield but his injury record is hurting him. Anderson did well but is new. Henderson may get a squad spot but isn't suited to a holding position. Angel Gomes has disappeared started games under Carsley. Gibbs-White, Rogers, Curtis Jones play further forward. Left wing will be difficult. Rashford has so much talent but has had a wayward year or so. If he stars for Barcelona he has a shot. Grealish has a chance to be the man man at Everton. He's started well. Foden is probably on the outs. He is a bit of a John Barnes for England and has also had a disjointed 12 months. Eze will be playing champs league this year which will help him. Can Cole Palmer play there? As I'm writing I realised that Arsenal have Saka, Madueke, Eze, Nwaneri, and now the young lad Dowman (who by all accounts is a star in the making). All of them could play on either flank.
  24. Because other teams get stronger, too. We probably overacheived last season as well.
  25. yeah I tend to agree I think. In which case we'd probably set-up like this... Pickford James - ??? - Guehi - ??? Anderson or Wharton - Rice Saka - Bellingham - ??? Kane Wouldn't want a natural 10 shoe-horned onto the wing like you say, so probably Gordon / Madueke (although he's usually on the right) for that spot. Lewis-Skelly for LB and then either Stones / Konsa for CB depending on fitness and form. Hoping we don't see Henderson, Gallagher, Jones, Gomes in that CM spot now. Anderson had an impact, and Wharton is worth a few goes when fit. Those two can both play forward passes which the 'Rice foil' has always struggled to do historically.
